Cam I feel you on the harassment and it is a reminder that intelligence and aggressive behavior are not exclusive or separate. If you consider the aggressive behavior of many people in an "advanced" society we live in currently the actions of any cryptid are to be commiserate with the environment surrounding them.

Hi Cam, I’ve been listening to you for about a month and I thoroughly enjoy you and your channel. I’ve been a big foot enthusiast for decades and have listened to many channels. The reason I love yours is that you have a wonderful way of speaking and appreciating each encounter that you read. I think this is your draw. Plus the fact that you read them is so much better than hearing somebody tell their encounter because I find that usually a 10 second encounter takes about 30 to 45 minutes for somebody to tell and it drives me batty. Reading encounters with your wonderful voice and your comments is why your channel is so popular!

Only real good people treat pets like you do. Mine are not pets they are my kids. I would fight tooth and nail for all my rescues. I have had over 30 dog and around 35 cat rescues over the past 40 years. My food bill is 300.00 every 2 weeks. With the world going to heck in a hand basket is is even higher now. 60.00 for 2 cases of pedigree dog food for the older ones is getting to be a bit much. I have personally sent the vet's kid to college. I would not have it another way.

Great stories Cam. I am from Alabama. When you said you have not heard of a pet cemetery I just had to tell you about the Coon Dog Cemetery here in Alabama.Key Underwood Coon Dog Memorial Graveyard
    Karren Pell, Montgomery, Alabama
    Coon Dog Cemetery
Popularly known as the Coon Dog Cemetery, the Key Underwood Coon Dog Memorial Graveyard was established in 1937. A sign on the site claims that it is the only cemetery of its kind in the world. Nestled in a remote area of Colbert County known as Freedom Hills Wildlife Management Area, near the Natchez Trace and the community of Cherokee, the cemetery is the final resting place for more than 150 coonhounds. Despite its remote location, nearly 7,000 people visit each year. Although the land belongs to the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, the Tennessee Valley Coon Hunters Association oversees the cemetery.

Thank you. I live alone, most of my family live hours away from where I currently live. Since my last combat tour and what I saw and had to do over there, I live a nearly a complete reclusive life style. I just have my 3 cats as companions. When I go for drives, I generally will take them with me when exploring, back roads. They are loads of fun, my current Tom, Bearcat, likes to ride on my leg staring out the window at the other cars, then he will jumps onto the dash board, on the passenger side or on the back of the seat wrapped around my shoulders, then he goes to sleep, while Tillycat, my little queen, has her favorite spot next to my leg, where she ends up going to sleep with her head in my lap. My old Siamese stays at home, she gets into fights with Tilly in close quarters, not an ideal situation in the cab of a p/u.
I have only had rocks thrown at me a couple other times, both times while fishing in one of the high lakes in my canoe, but, I had been lucky and they all fell short.
Take care, stay safe and healthy.

But, as far as your visit goes, the big guy was probably angered when you chambered that round. More veterans need to get everything they deserve. The "problem" is that what got most people to join the military in the first place is a desire to be of service and not a feeling of entitlement. That ending does leave the story up to the readers interpretation. I wonder, however, if his horse would've been spooked if what he really only encountered was the dead deer. I'm certainly no expert on horses but animals in general typically react to their sense of smell often before their sense of sight. I Like to think he encountered a sasquatch. But the writer never commented about any tracks his dad might have seen up in that area either. Hopefully the author will read/hear this podcast & email back to clear up these details. The suspense is growing! As always Cam- lovin' your stories man!

Mr. Campbell: It is my story you are referring too. I typed that story exactly as I remember it. I tried my best to put into words exactly as I remember it. I am in my 60's now yet I can remember the events of that September night like they were yesterday. I did not embellish my story in any way. It happened exactly as I said. As it is my story I can answer all of your questions. First I will address Ivan's reaction. If you recall the creek bottom was rocky and when we exited the creek to climb the East bank I had given Ivan his head. As a horseman its a term we use often. Simply put giving the head means you let go of the reins and let the horse choose the path. Horses are not predictor. they have a very wide field of view as with all pray animals their eyes are on the sides of their heads. Horses do have an acute since of smell. Keep in mind that it will take me longer to write this than it took for Ivan to climb the west bank and enter the Mesquite trees. As you recall I was still holding onto the saddle horn. Something I only do when climbing or turning sharply. From the time we left the creek until Ivan came to an instant stop was no more than 15 seconds at the most. Most likely around ten seconds. Second I will address tracks. The path we used between the ranches was really nothing more than a game trail but as boys and not grown men it was easy enough to navigate and would cut the travel time in half. As I said in the story my father was looking for track when he came upon the deer hanging. If you are not familiar with horses this may or may not surprise you. Walking forward a horses hooves will not over lap. Meaning the rear leg hooves do not go past the front legs. Its always a clean print and looks like this from google photos www.shutterstock.com/image-photo/horse-tracks-sand-bali-beach-1318385 However, when a horse backs up (not a natural movement for a horse) They do not lift their rear hooves. Rather they slide them for the most part. The do pick up their front ones when moving backwards. The only tracks that were visible was that of Ivan but why would their be anything except ours. It had been raining prior and the ground is mostly Rock and Sand in the bottoms. Dad and I did go back the next day and remove the dear to keep the Coyote and Turkey buzzards away. We removed it without incident. Was the deer what I saw that late summer night? I do not think so. Would Ivan be spooked of a dead deer? No, I knew the horse and it knew me. He would jump a three rail fence and come to my bedroom widow when Dad first got him for me. What did I see? Exactly what I said in the story. Thank you so much for your questions and I am glad you enjoyed it.

Same here Dan, most of my family are Marines.. I believe Dan saw a BF and also glad his father didn't kill one. To Dan, I'm sorry about your 107 year old Grandpa Rod, I can imagine the wonderful stories he has told you, and probaby about his first encounter with our hairy BF.
I sense he had a love for nature, and loved being a Cowboy.

I buried my dog and my cats (after they died) in my rose garden. Nothing digs in my rose garden. I'm also a lady veteran (1966-1969). She might try bringing some apples and bananas to offer as a gifts when she visits her pet Cemetery. But, they might follow her home expecting more handouts. Have you ever noticed that some people become moochers after you give them a gift. Bigfoot may do the same to people that go out their way to be nice to them. "You can't help the needy because of the greedy."

we have had a pet cemetery for the last 37 years.....the lower one
(near the yard) contains both cats and dogs, and the upper has cats, dogs, racoons, pigs and calves.I am sure that archeologists 10,000 years from now will be quite puzzled......with the calf cuddling a racoon, that is cuddling 3 little pigs.....and now the frost has left the ground.....Another planting is in order....rest well my pet...........

I did not see the Sasquatch behavior as harassment. For an Entity that can kill with a stone, no shot was close enough to hurt her, but merely to let her know of their presence. BTW, Yeti Bars are AWESOME! I give them as gifts. I treasure each one.

Hey, Deborah. I had a pet cemetery in Southwest Ga. I placed rocks or bricks over the graves and they were never disturbed. I didn’t know there were Bigfoot there in all the years I lived there. I moved to Washington state in 1996, to a rural area known for them, but never saw any. The first decade or so I buried deceased pets on my sister and bro in laws acreage. After they moved to a neighborhood with a smaller yard I began having them cremated and now have a collection of dog and cat ashes I will someday have mine mixed with. Half to go into the Atlantic off the Florida coast, my native state, and half into the Pacific either the coast of Washington or California, where I lived in the 60’s and 70’s.

Shelly Thank you for your service!!!Youre obviously very sharp and brave and what a resume of service!! Thank you for sharing your encounter!!!! There goes the neighborhood with these rude BF!Douglas County is South of where I live in Oregon and there have been a lot of BF encounters in the area!!!
I agree with you Cam! Bigfoot harassing people who are putting lived pets to rest isn't cool and I agree that if their as smart ad given credit for, as they obviously are because they had to have been the ones to place the river rock on the tops of the other 3 Graves which obviously is showing respect for them too.
A rock the size of a Hermiston watermelon 🍉 would be huge and easily kill any human. It would be SCARY AS HELL even only hearing a big creature stomping and grunting at you just out of sight in the woods!!!!! Totally intimidating!!!
