I wonder what people do when they get one and there's no way to fasten it. Also there's no keyway in the shaft to keep the blades hub from slipping. I have a Honda 200 watts PMA, 47 years old, and it has a woodruff key . Too many things wrong with this one.

Something aint right. There are 3 wires meaning 3 phase power. When you pull and generate power the light bulb shouldnt have stable power at all times. It should blink ever so slightly. This is why 3 phase is there in the first place to stop blinking power from peak to peak therefore to try and give a straight almost constant power.

That is easy, Yes. As long as you have the blades to catch the wind vertically, absolutely. There are in fact commercially available vertical wind turbines based on this principle. Just as and fyi, this would be good for a hydro electric option too.
