That's a twm short shifter. Maybe something wore out and your can get a replacement part and then sell it to recoup some money. Not sure if TWM is still around though. Nice install video. Have the hybrid racing short shifter v2.

What’s up man! Just ordered my skunk 2 radiator and HR short shifter. Did you also order the detent springs my brother? Any fitment issues or anything for you?
Niice bro really great investment! Yes I put the detent springs in and the cable shifter bushings. I also put Torco trans fluid in the transmission and noticed a significant difference when shifting. There was a fitment issue with the bottom right corner hitting the shifter but I trimmed it.

For me i always want more power so i don’t go down that road. But good brakes, steering response, and fun engagement with shifter and gearbox is what keeps me wanting to drive.

@@Vicwavy love it man. My top 3 mods so far brakes, new engine mounts, and new tires. Looking forward to the short shifter. I’ve done zero power mods and probably won’t. Cause once is spend 200 why not make it 2k!!!! HA
@@JeLifeCoach Haha yeah man I plan on doing the RL brakes conversion soon! I was lucky mine came with full Bolton’s and Hondata. I basically am making 215 rn which is okay so I did the jdm conversion.

Haven’t had problems with the screw coming loose in the middle ?
So when I had it I didn’t have anything coming loose. However the spring noise was somewhat bothersome but aside from that it’s a good short shifter. 👍

Do you have to take off the armrest or can you just install the short shifter with the front centerpiece off thanks have a good day
So you can install it with the center console still in but I recommend to unbolt and slide it back like I did. There’s two bolts on the arm rear floor and four bolts near the shifter bracket and a small push clip on the top of the passenger side kick panel near the glove box. I should have explained that more. 👍

So my car is a decent but loud plus I have music on so I really can’t hear it but only sometimes lol
Just cut & put a piece of carbon fiber or black tape over that “chrome” trimming
