DOD Chorus 690 Pedal Repair - Part 1

I recently purchased this vintage DOD Chorus 690 pedal that required some repair. These USA made pedals, dating to the early 80s, are mains powered with two footswitchable speed settings.
This one requires a new power switch and mains cable to be fitted, but will the device rated for 110Vac have survived a previous modification to take the UK mains voltage of 230Vac?
