Skipping Rocks in Moss Landing - March 4, 2024

- An after-work rock skipping session in Moss Landing. I collected these rocks at a nearby beach. They were decent quality rocks for practice, but definitely not as nice as the rocks I would use in a competition. I plan to upload more videos like this of my rock skipping practice sessions, and will continue to upload shorts to highlight some of my best skips. I really need to start recording with a better quality camera.

@@RockSkippingPro I second this request! I love rock skipping but seem to have plateaued around 15-25 skips. Would love to see a breakdown of how you achieve your much higher skips.
@@TheMexicanPlatypus I’ll hopefully make some tutorials this summer. In the meantime, I suggest checking out videos of Kurt Steiner, he’s the world record holder. “Wired” did a couple of videos on him where he gives some tips that are pretty helpful!
