I watch quite a bit of journaling videos and I have to say yours are by far my absolute favorite!!! Your reviews of the books as well as your style of 'collage' journaling are a pleasure to watch!! Keep doing YOU! 😊
Your approach to From Below is basically how I read almost everything. I very much am a "cover reader" or if a title sounds intriguing. I love going into a book blind!
I love Haunting of Hill House. “No live organism can continue for long to exist sanely under conditions of absolute reality; even larks and katydids are supposed, by some, to dream.”
This was the perfect thing to watch on a Saturday afternoon whilst sketching my December spreads. Your videos always have this wonderful calming vibe. And of course I love all the book talk. I don't think I've ever read any horror books. I am usually more of a thriller gal, because horror and slightly supernatural themes combined with spookiness freak me out a bit too much. Somehow true crime / crime feels less scary to me :D
I adore your video style, it’s always so relaxing and chill❤ I was wondering how do you do your setup at the coffee shop? I’ve been struggling to find a good way to record my notebook as I’m working
I enjoy more dark topics/fucked up books versus scary books. If that's your thing, I highly recommend Tender is the Flesh by Agustina Bazterrica, if you haven't read it already.
Another great video from you! 😍 Loved the spreads… and so interesting to hear your thoughts on these books. 🙂 Btw if you’re interested in another book set in Mexico (I’d say it’s more horror than spooky?) you might enjoy Mexican Gothic by Silvia Moreno-Garcia.

If you liked the concept of from below and the horror/ water type vibe. I would recommend: They Came From the Ocean! Rated it 5 ⭐️’s
Thanks for the recommendation!🤩
The purple moon washi looks like one from Archer & Olive (what I have looks identical), but I'm not sure if they have it any more.
There are a few RUclipsrs that I like their videos before I even watch them, and you are definitely one of them 💕

Haunting of Hill House is one of those books I wish I could read for the first time again. Glad you enjoyed it!

You don't even know how much watching your videos cheers me up.

omg you look and sound like Dakota Fanning, gorgeous!
You were able to read horror-themed books for November! I tried that but I never got into it. Always looking forward to you reading journal updates!

Dear Hedda! I thank you sooo much for this video! You and your art always inspired me! With love 🤗💖
My spooky book recommendation: The Turn of the Screw, by Henry James. Your spreads are beautiful, thanks for sharing!
Love your journaling ❤️
Tomorrow is my exam and I am watching you 😃

These are such lovely spreads! I recommend “Rebecca” by Daphne Du Maurier-I’m reading it right now and really enjoy it ☺️ 📚 💖
Oh I love the blue-on-black cover page 💖 I'm curious - have you picked up any books in Japanese during your trip?
very beautiful,❤️😍

I need to learn hand lettering...! How can I learn it? Thanks a lot!
