Hi Bethanne. At 76 years old, a quilter for 40 plus years, a quilt teacher for ten years, I am finally liberated thanks to your quilts. You are inspiring and uniquely talented. Never lose your zest.

I was shocked when I saw the settee! Amazing 💗 A radical quilter pushing herself and her limits! I'm going to see if my machine has that couching foot for the wool! Tfs

I'm a hand quilter, and that's what makes me happy. After listening to Bethanne, I have decided to give myself permission to do my own thing and forget the pressure to become a machine quilter because "that's what you're supposed to do now." I may not produce as big a body of work, but it will be all me.

My first quilt was on a little home machine, and my second was by hand, all of the others since have been by hand a total of 5 now since the start of covid. Hand quilting is a calling, and I’m glad to know others got the call to hand quilt.

I really enjoyed that. Great talk. A lot of information. Your skill and artistic talent are evident but your passion is the clincher. Thank you for your time.

Truly amazing, this is what i miss when walking around a quilt show, i want to know what inspired the artist the story behind the piece and of course how it was done ...

Bethanne you are so inspiring I love all of your work. One question though abought your later wholecloth quilts have sort of a sheen to them so I have to ask are they silk or a dye of your own creation?
