Just because I know I’m gonna get a ton of comments about it! I will be doing the explanation video to spring day! I stated it in the video but just in case people skip the talking they can see it here! 💜
Caitlin, the Sewol Ferry tragedy explanation/theory videos for "Spring Day" are emotionally and mentally difficult to absorb. (There have been reactors who could not finish in front of a camera.) Just know, we have lasting respect for this "queen" of songs, especially the music video version.
Spring day is such a meaningful song. Artists in SK were being blacklisted for speaking out about against the government. The director of Parasite was one of them. This was a HUGE cover up partly because of the ferry company's connection to politicians in power, and the government's previous changing and defunding of rescue services which resulted in a failure to rescue the victims (like they didn't even try, local fishermen had to try to save the students). They lied to the families and public. It was horrible. This song helped keep the tragedy in the forefront of the Korean public's mind, which added fuel to the driving force of the public will, eventually leading to the impeachment of their President. There's an explanation video for Spring Day if you interested. It was also just recently revealed that BTS and their CEO Bang PD met with the families of the tragedy to offer prayers/comfort and also donated in secret to them. BTS were only few years into their career when they released this song, so it was a huge risk for them. It just shows how passionate they are about doing what is right. They have never been afraid to call shit out in their own way, even within their own government. You should look up the song "Am I Wrong" and the story behind their performance if you wanna see them get political. EDIT: Also I should add while it has recently been confirmed to have connections to the disaster, this song was ultimately written as a way to comfort others. I think that's why they've performed this song again this year after so many years, as way to comfort ARMY during these difficult times.
Hi! Just to let you know, Spring Day was released in Feb. 2017, so over 3 1/2 years after debut (not 2, maybe a typo?). Also, the Blacklist you referred to was exposed in mid 2016. It was one of the catalysts that prompted the presidents impeachment, which began in Dec. 2016. The list wasn't specifically about the Sewol Ferry. Any anti government speech got you on the list, but that ended in mid 2016 with it being exposed (and I'm pretty sure BigHit didn't need government financial assistance by this time anyway lol).
Yes...the Spring Day mv has so so so many symbolism and after watching the explained version (there is a lot...) each symbolism hit me real real hard...😭😭😭 cried more than my first watch 🥰...cannot imagine how a family member can survive this horrific ordeal 😔😔😔😔
@@imsinkingfast Youre not wrong but the boys did visit and donate to the parents and survivors in 2014 when they were rookies putting their careers at risk. In 2017 They donated again and did spring day after the president went to jail. Im sorry for my bad English
Just to clarify. MV, choreography, lyrics match with Sewol Ferry tragedy, but RM with Suga explained multiple times how they wrote Spring day thinking about their friends. Suga actually told the whole story about his friend in Dear my friend, which was released this year, so explanations won't mention it They said because of the social environment at the time they decided to make a song that could comfort people, that's how Spring day was made
RM and Suga said they wrote Spring day based on their experience with old friends. Suga specifically wrote about the friend who went to prison (he is talking about the same person in his song Agust D - Dear my friend). But yes, "Spring day" and MV also relate to national tragedy, you can watch explanation, if you want to know more about it
@@DrValkyrie actually it came out recently in an article that they have actually visited the families of the passengers and burned incense with them...so I'm pretty sure our speculations are correct.
"Boy Meets" is a teaser for their upcoming album and J-Hope's solo Boy Meets Evil. Also, I would recommend you also watch/listen to their song I'm Fine, which is the like ... partner song to Save Me.
I love when they perform I'm Fine and start it out with a part of Save Me. I love the choreo for I'm Fine. They just re-posted the I'm Fine performance from the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon they had it removed for the longest time, but it's back-for now at least.
. fun fact abt save me: the MV was shot all at once and that day it was raining so the boys did it multiple times to make it perfect even though they were all wet. PROFESSIONALS FROM THE BEGINNING lol . fun fact abt spring day: the last location with the snowy ground and the tree was real. that day it was so cold and they were wearing light clothes (if you're wondering, you can find it on their bangtantv channel)
After listening to SAVE ME, I recommend you listen to I'M FINE! I'M FINE is like a reverse version of SAVE ME, with lyrics saying that even if we don't have that other person to save us (like they say in save me), we are going to be fine because we are going to save ourselves. The guys really did a good job in reversing the song, and especially the lyrics. So if you react to IM FINE please pay special attention to the lyrics and if you need to you can compare them to SAVE ME, we don't mind longer videos lol Love your reactions!! Thank you for giving the guys a chance!!
Caitlin you are so on point with BTS. I am 68yrs old and teased about my love for them. The only people that get my interest in them is my daughter and her family because they are in the music industry. Problem is they live in another state so we exchange our favorite songs, videos through technology. They understand that I feel and love lyrics, music, vocals, visuals and choreography. Loved music and the arts all my life. Hasn't changed because of my age and never will.
Don't you worry about seeing the BU too early. Wouldn't "ruin" anything. You just would have to watch it again later and what would be the harm in that! 😉 And man, you are truly ot7 💜Adore your appreciation of Jin's voice. (Sounds like bogo shipda) 보고 싶어 -- I miss you is the first Korean phrase I learned. And yes, so many layers t Spring Day. Lyrics about lost friends with the overlay of a MV that clearly references the Sewol Ferry tragedy. Brilliant. And I agree the Italian one is the best for telling you what actually happened with the Sewol Ferry. The other ones maybe think we know all about it and although I remember hearing about it at the time, I didn't realize just how horrific it was.
For spring day this song is one of the greatest kpop song ever it still charting in korean charts till this very day I recommend you to watch an explanation video for it to understand the story in this mv This song has a special place in armys hearts so beautiful💜
The behind the scenes shooting for Save Me really shows their dedication to their craft, heh ... it was cold, raining, and windy and they were out there all day working on it since they were doing it in one take, so they needed to run through the whole thing multiple times. And of course, they aren't wearing coats during the actual shooting.
Hearing this years later after a time of hardship having lost my childhood pet and grandpa this winter it has been difficult but the lyrics and music video embody the feeling of loss for me. So glad that BTS has always been the type of artist and people who choose to speak about these serious issues despite the difficulties they could face by speaking out.
You really want to see your angel looking different, you need to go back to their first, first songs, No More Dream and Bulletproof Pt. 2, where he was still trying really hard to be a badass and hadn't yet fully embraced himself.
I love all of the songs starting with their debut. They have grown so much since 2013. The behind the scenes videos and candids are the best, and they draw you in to the group. I don't know if you've gone down the rabbit hole of their music video theories, but they're immersive. Such a phenomenal group and I'm happy they've achieved global recognition and success.
Save me and Spring Day are wonderful songs. Spring Day hits me more with how sad it is. I love the song but I dont listen to it enough mostly because it makes me sad, but I do LOVE it.
Hi Caitlin! I just wanted to say that I love your reactions! You are so genuine and it can be seen from miles away. Your facial expressions are priceless, The depth of your musical and lyrical understanding is gold, your editing is hilarious Thank you for making my day and making me laugh out loud every time you upload :) You Nice Keep Going!!!
I'm glad that you are also going to react to the Spring Day reaction video, you won't be sorry. Spring Day is the Queen and will reign forever. It has been on the charts since it came out in February of 2017....which is amazing. Also, every time BTS releases a new song, Spring Day rises on the charts. It is a song that will forever touch many peoples hearts.
Save me is one of very top favourite songs by BTS! It was the song that made me an Army! Could not stop listening to it for a long long time! How time has gone by so fast! Look at where they are now... unbelievable 🙏🤯
Spring Day is that song will never leave you it’s such an impactful song and will have a different meaning to everyone,, I noticed you didn’t pause it once during the song it totally pulled you in,,definitely watch the explanation vid ,you will, have a whole new outlook on it,but even before that you know it’s a very deep songx
You’re right. The NPR performance does not have any subtitles. You definitely did it right by watching & listening to Save Me and Spring Day first. Props to the person who told you that you haven’t heard these songs yet.
The 'Save Me' MV has been one of my favorites for a long time, even before I became an Army. Spring day made me teary again 😢 Thanks for the reaction! 💜
This is personally my opinion on what “Spring Day” was about. Each member in “spring day”represents the survivors guilt that people who survived the ship sinking went through. They’re saying that they loved that person who passed, but they also hate them for leaving them alone. It feels like a cold winter without them, but they know spring day will come once they are able to let that person go. When V was running he was chasing the memories of that person, but time had already gone by without them. I think the shoes symbolizes letting go of that person. I’m not really sure what the full meaning of the song was but thats what I got from it.
2 of their best songs and best videos that have made an impact. One video was a one shot while th he other may have been there most beautiful, impactful song ever...
Loved your reaction as always, and I'm so excited that you plan on watching the Tiny Desk concert! It's one of my favorite things they've done. (although I'm relatively new ARMY - May 2020 - so I haven't seen everything yet! Just a lot of it! XD) One thing I love about Spring Day is that they performed it a few times in 2020 as a way to comfort people during the pandemic, so while they may have been inspired to create it based on the Sewol Ferry tragedy, the song and its lyrics (and hopeful message) can be applicable to many things. It made me appreciate the song even more. Anyway, looking forward to more of your reactions! :)
Thank you so much! ☺️💜 - I totally agree with you on the song being a message than can be applied to many things! I honestly didn’t feel like the lyrics were talking about the accident at all but I do feel like there was some things in the music video that related to it!
@@caitlinbensonn yeah, I feel the lyrics are more about general feelings of loss and separation while the music video has more references to the tragedy. I’m glad you’re going to check out the tiny desk concert!
I CAN'T WITH THE "OH OH OH" at the end. I always remember their 2017 concert in brazil. I wasn't the but i watched the concert at home and the b-army sang that so loud and beautifully that made me cry. At the concert the boys don't do the oh oh oh, but armys kept singing and it was beautiful.
U must watch the explanation to spring day. It’s a very deep song, talking about the Sewol disaster, the biggest maritime disaster in modern Korea. Watch the explanation by Italian army, it’s in Italian but there’s cc and it’s way more detailed than the one by bulletproof vibes
the iconic save me live at kcon was the first time bts left everyone shook with the synchronization i remember watching it that is when I feel deeply and strongly in more love with the
What i like about BTS is they're doing so many genres and their lyrics are soo deep. Sometimes i wonder why they got so much hates. They don't deserved it 😥 they're such hardworkers and didn't do anything bad that againts the law
Spring day gets me every time. 😭😭😭this song is always the death of me and just thinking about what happened is worse. 2021 needs to get better. I have hope it will be.
Its great how you said this 2016 songs are old, as it highlights the sheer length of time BTS have been going!! To see some foetus BTS, you should watch their debut song 'No More Dream' which is from 2013!! It would be so funny to see your reaction to the differences to what you've heard and seen, to No More Dream!! Also, i've loved watching ALL your reactions, they're so great xxx
So you should add a live performance video of Spring Day to your viewing. The interaction on stage is pretty magical and moving. BTW absolutely love your reactions.
I became an army around wings era and I'm so glad that my first ever comeback experience was spring day (and not today). Literally, I was at our school when I first heard spring day and I cried SO MUCH lol. A bit embarrassing but that moment is I think what made me really love and appreciate their music :>>
honestly, of all the theories about the clothes, i never heard anyone say it represents passed loved ones and that really hit me. we all have people we miss. 😔💔
Spring day is a seasonal metaphor of comparing sadness into a long cold winter. Aside from the fact that the train symbolizes the movie "Snowpiercer" it's also a symbol of what grief feels like. Imagine yourself alone inside a train that never stops but never reaches a destination either. It goes in circles. Never escaping the cold winter that surrounds it.
I'm really enjoying your channel and how your react. Very sincere and it brings me back three months ago when I discovered BTS!! All the emotions but mostly joy during a hard year. After enjoying the emotional Spring Day and crying my eyeballs out, I like to recover by watching their carpool karaoke.
I absolutely love how you hype up every single member. You're amazing. I like that you interpreted Save me as friendship, since many people often think it's about about woman right off the bat. Save me is one of my favorite lead tracks :) Thank you for the video! I binged them up till now so now I'll get to follow your journey! Looking forward to the spring day explained and tiny desk concert :) I hope you're having a good day!
Spring day always hits the hardest to me When I went to college in the mainland I had to leave all my friends back at home in my island (home) and bc of the pandemic I haven’t been able to see them this year, making it 2 years since I’ve last been with them Bts really capture that yearning for past friendships while still managing to express tht everything will inevitably be alright Thank you for the reaction you are amazing 💜
The reason why Spring Day keeps charting everytime they release a new song is probably because IT IS ONE OF THEIR BEST WRITTEN SONG EVER. Spring Day is a queen and will forever be a QUEEN.
Thannks for the reactions! I became an army like 6 years ago? I used to be soooo cray about them. It was one of my darkets days and they really helped me to understand what I was feeling, the way I related to their songs and the way their craft resonated with me was so powerful. (LONG ASS ESSAY AHEAD LMAO) I was really close to the fandom too and was a super active army but as a multi the peace didnt really last so I had to lay low for my own peace. MBMIL era was my fave! I thought that even as a grandma Ill still be a hardcore army. But then after Fake Love their songs didnt really resonated with me much but I still held on since I really love the boys. But then during their western activities I laylowed on them. I just kind of lost a touch. I wasnt super ecited about their releases anymore. Im still updated, but not much involved. As a multi it was also hard to keep up and bear with the growing, toic sid of the fandom and although I promised that I wouldnt let fandom issues affect my love for the boys, it still did a toll on me and I wasnt as hyped as I was for them anymore. It was so painful, honestly. I'll always stan them but the fact that I was losing that spark, there came I time where I felt like I was forcing myself to keep on just for th sentimental value, th memories. I may sound oa but it really mattered that much to me. I felt like shit, like I just used them to help me during my dark times. But I rally love them, so now Im going back to the lane and rekiving the feels while watching your reactions! It brings so much nostalgia and feels to me. I still dont love their past few releases (dynamite, butter, etc.) but I like it! As much as I missed thir past sound, I respect their pace and art. Sorry for the long ass essay just had to get it off my chest. Thank you for making my journey to memory lane happier!
These guys definitely know how to bring you on a roller coaster ride. One day when you’re listening to whole albums you’ll definitely feel it. 💜🌎 Welcome to your life after discovering BTS. 🔥
I absolutely love Spring Day especially Tae’s vocals loved all the members but his part gets me every time as soon as he sings “You know it all your my best friend” and bam I’m in tears 😭 💜
“could the clothes resemble the dead” wow you’re so smart usually no reactor gets that- you should react to the meaning behind spring day because there’s so much more to it
Now that you've heard all the songs they did for Tiny Desk. Its a live performance of these 2 songs and dynamite. Trust me you want to see it live. Look up tiny desk bts
I always cry like a baby when I hear spring day so I was crying throughout ur reaction oopsshshdhd ,, Honestly your analysis was pretty on point yup yup you’re so smart 🥺.
Oh I feel for you. If just watching the Spring Day MV makes you sad, when you know what it’s all about you will be a mess. There is a reason this song has not left the Korean charts since it was released. I still cry even after all these years. Once you have watched it, I will tell you how it was in Korea at the time. I was there on holidays.
Just found your videos today, they are so fun! It’s great when new people find and react to the boys, and I love seeing how different people connect with their music. Your genuine interest in them really shines through, and I’ve been smiling and laughing all the way through your videos. I hope you get positive reactions 💜 and I hope you continue to have fun reacting
I dont know, i really like your reaction. It feels honest to me and you’re genuine people. I love it.. yeah after this we want to see your reaction to tiny desk! Can’t wait💜
Whenever you watch a mv related to the storyline or one that just leaves u confused af, dont worry, there are a lot of explanation videos. For Spring day i would highly recommend the explanation by 'Italian army' becauze it covers all the bits and peaces about the Sewol tragedy....and one more excellent channel you should have in mind for the explanations (mainly for their Map to the Soul 7 album) is ' Bookish Theories'....once u jump into the storyline hole they will be a great help beside armys comments. 😁
Fun fact: save me is filmed while raining. The most beautiful mv ive ever seen cause no props, edits just them with their talent it's like just simple☹️💜
Hi Caitlin.. I discovered you yesterday and I love you and your videos.. My ultimate favourite song of them for me is Spring day.. well all their songs are beyond amazing.. but this song has a deep meaning in my heart.. literally everytime I listen to it.. once the music starts.. goosepumps.. on the first word.. I'm already crying.. can't wait for your reaction to its explaination.. it's called the Queen of bts songs for a reason.. its still on korean charts till today.. love you so much.. see you next time.. all the love from Egypt💜👋🏻
Love your reactions girl! You are spot on with the clothes pile representing the dead. There's way more, the video is literally stuffed with symbolism. I highly recommend watching an explanation video for spring day. We would all love to watch it with you, but I do caution you: it's heavy. Please take care of yourself first. 💜
love your reactions!!! i love how you really get into the songs & the messages they want to convey 💜 you’re so fun to watch & very relatable!!! will be looking forward for more of your videos, one of the best reactors i’ve watched!!
hi caitlin! you are so pretty, i found your videos yesterday and i love your bts reactions :) i binged them all yesterday and subscribed & turned on your notifications immediately
Spring day was written about their own experience. RM said he knows this song reminds about tragedy, but they left it open for interpretation. We know only about Suga's lyrics and they are not about tragedy, they are about his personal life and the loss of a friend to drugs. It's also important to remember MV and song are different things. Song is mostly written by members, but they usually are not involved into creating MVs
it can be about multiple things many koreans have said this is what the song is about. armys need to learn to stop thinking bts songs are 1 dimensional every single song has multiple meanings not just 1. they also revealed recently that it was about the ferry but they can not say it any more directly than they have.
@@VictoriaLovesMusic as i said it is open for interpretation and it was written by 9 people ofc it will have different meaning And now they can say openly about what this song, official version is what they openly said, other things are speculation. I don't deny it has connection with tragedy, but at least 2 of the songwriters wrote it firstly thinking about their own experience
Literally Two master pieces in their own way💜 *Save me* have a "complementary" song they released after, which is *I'm fine* and as the both titles show it's like phases, first they needed help but after that they managed to be fine ( you got the basic idea) Even the melodies in both songs in the beginning are the same but reversed... They put such efforts in their work❤️ Btw You nice keep going 💜
two of my top songs from them... I recommend the ff based on my top songs :Airplane pt 2 , Just One Day, Magic Shop(no music video) Louder than Bombs(no music video),Epiphany (Jin solo),Danger,Truth Untold(vocal line) to name the least lol
About Jimin's looks... In 2016, he was a young-looking 21. Now he's 25, and in the past 18 months really looks like a man in his face. His face has changed the most, as he has matured. But ever since he was a teenager, body-wise he has had the musculature of an adult man. The amount of fat he carries on his body varies, depending on his age, whether he is doing a diet, and if they are doing a tour, how far into the tour they are, because he goes so hard in his dancing. But the biggest thing I think is a combination of the color of his hair at the time, and the songs he is performing. Because he is a story-teller, he inhabits the songs when he performs, like an actor. He can look like a cute older child, a nerd, a bad boy gamer, or a glamorous rockstar, all over the course of a day or two, depending on what he is singing and dancing to, and how he is costumed. His makeup and hairstyle can change his face dramatically. I always recognize his body, the shape of his head, his jaw, his eyes, and his nose. Everything else can change. Especially, his face can look long or square, depending on hairstyle and makeup.
Thanks for mentioning that you will watch the explanation. Like 'Daechwita', it is a must for understanding the lyrics and the song is genius. Since 'Spring Day' has a lot of references to the film 'Snow Piercer', and the relevance to today's political scene, if you have time on the side to watch it, you'll be amazed. Same person who wrote 'Parasite'. IIRC, I was able to find both movies on Netflix, both excellent. Thank you again and Borahae. Your reactions make my day!
I just want to say to you and to all of army with the global circumstances that we are facing with that one day our "Spring Day" will come. Its difficult now when you feel sad, lonely, frustrated because of the issues one can be facing whether it be due to the pandemic, mentally, physically, and so on. Know that this is not forever, we will all get through whatever challenges we are dealing with. Army is family and I hope you all know that you are special and loved not only by each other, by BTS, but by God too. Spring day is coming, I know it, when it comes, we all will finally be able to feel the fresh air again, to laugh, to hug, and to be happy. Love you all army. Borahae 💜💜😊😊
I really like the way you add some notes when you are silent - you communicating with us but you are so so focused on the video. Hope you will react to some concert performances for those songs. Also, cookies for you for checking doolset lyrics
Spring day : the boys never officially acknowledged the relation with the tragedy (in a recent interview, Jin said something about this, though...) , the song is not specifically about it, but the MV definitely refers to it, the explanation video leaves no doubt about it. But beside all explanations, official or not, the fact is that this song is, as you say yourself, getting to you... pressing on your throat. A little funny fact about it ? To cheer you up : Suga calls it their zombie song... cause it never dies... They still sing it (tiny desk concert perfect example) and it’s still on the charts. Welcome to the depth of the legend young lady.
They admit it various times thought the years that yes the video it is about the tragedy (the song is more about friendship but it is about the tragedy too) . Including the last one of Jin that you mention, im sorry about my poor English
Spring Day is our Queen. She is still charting on music chart since its release and we Armys say that she rises whenever BTS releases a new song like the QUEEN she is 😂
There is this rlly interesting analysis video for spring day on yt! The person goes through the video step by step and just talks about references to the Korean movie "snowpiercer" and the book "omelas" and rlly does an in depth analysis of the video, the creator did another one for blood sweat and tears as well! They’re great! Just type in "spring day analysis" or sth XD
@@llllfredillll2318 Yes, this explanation video is great too! This particular video does not relate the Spring Day mv to the Sewol Ferry tragedy, but instead it correlates it to loss. What makes BTS timeless is that the listener/viewer can interpret their music/lyrics/MVs in anyway they want, it’s open to interpretation. This is what makes BTS so relatable and loved across all ages, ethnicities, and genders.
It’s OK, Spring Day in any rendition (including instrumental covers) makes me cry every time. The other one that hits me hard is Untold Truth- check out any live performance of this song by the vocal line.
These songs actually have deep meanings to the both. You should react to spring day explain video and save me is a song and it connects to another song called im fine, its like the sequeal of save me. I love sad Bts songs i dont know why ahah! anway great reaction
The train in Spring Day is referencing Snowpiercer, which RM mentions in his lyrics at the beginning. It is a Korean movie. Here is the plot summary: "Survivors of Earth's second Ice Age live out their days on a luxury train that ploughs through snow and ice. The train's poorest residents, who live in the squalid caboose, plan to improve their lot by taking over the engine room." Some people believe that the reference to Snowpiercer is focused around the social injustice done to the students who drowned on the ship because they were told to 'stay in their place' while the captain and crew abandoned the ship. Others believe that it is a metaphor for the grieving process ... a train circling endlessly through a perpetual winter. I think it is probably elements of both. I like, though, how JK seems to be alone on the train for most of the MV and towards the end the camera pans out and reveals the others were with him all along. And of course, this song is on their album "You Never Walk Alone." And yes, the clothes represent the dead. It is actually based on a French art exhibit, although I don't remember who the artist is.
Just because I know I’m gonna get a ton of comments about it!
I will be doing the explanation video to spring day! I stated it in the video but just in case people skip the talking they can see it here! 💜
Yay! 🙂💜

The amazing thing about “Save Me” is that video was a one shot/one take. If you watch the behind the scenes, it will blow your mind
Yea the save me behind is great!
Yes....do watch the behind the scene "Save Me", i was at awe to see their awesomness, dedication n funniest moments...know who is chasing who 🤣🤣🤣
Spring day is such a meaningful song.

Just to clarify. MV, choreography, lyrics match with Sewol Ferry tragedy, but RM with Suga explained multiple times how they wrote Spring day thinking about their friends. Suga actually told the whole story about his friend in Dear my friend, which was released this year, so explanations won't mention it
They said because of the social environment at the time they decided to make a song that could comfort people, that's how Spring day was made
Yes, thank you for mentioning this. It's not solely about the tragedy but it's about anyone who misses a loved one.
But they can't neither confirm nor deny that it is about the tragedy, because of the government
RM and Suga said they wrote Spring day based on their experience with old friends. Suga specifically wrote about the friend who went to prison (he is talking about the same person in his song Agust D - Dear my friend). But yes, "Spring day" and MV also relate to national tragedy, you can watch explanation, if you want to know more about it
Thank you

Yeah I don’t think they’ve ever explicitly stated it was about the Sewol ferry tragedy, at least not to my knowledge.

Lol. I consider these more “recent” if you want “old school,” you need to go back to 2013/2014... but seriously, all of their songs are amazing
And then I think you will be VERY shocked by the changes lol
"Boy Meets" is a teaser for their upcoming album and J-Hope's solo Boy Meets Evil.
Also, I would recommend you also watch/listen to their song I'm Fine, which is the like ... partner song to Save Me.
I love when they perform I'm Fine and start it out with a part of Save Me. I love the choreo for I'm Fine. They just re-posted the I'm Fine performance from the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon they had it removed for the longest time, but it's back-for now at least.
Yes! perfect folks up to Save Me
. fun fact abt save me: the MV was shot all at once and that day it was raining so the boys did it multiple times to make it perfect even though they were all wet. PROFESSIONALS FROM THE BEGINNING lol
. fun fact abt spring day: the last location with the snowy ground and the tree was real. that day it was so cold and they were wearing light clothes (if you're wondering, you can find it on their bangtantv channel)
So if you react to IM FINE please pay special attention to the lyrics and if you need to you can compare them to SAVE ME, we don't mind longer videos lol
Love your reactions!!
💜💜💜
I'm 58 years old. Love you! Love BTS!
@@kathygriffith5164 👍🏾💜
Don't you worry about seeing the BU too early. Wouldn't "ruin" anything. You just would have to watch it again later and what would be the harm in that! 😉
And man, you are truly ot7 💜Adore your appreciation of Jin's voice.
If I remember correctly, I also think the choreo for Spring Day references the tragedy as well
For spring day this song is one of the greatest kpop song ever it still charting in korean charts till this very day
I recommend you to watch an explanation video for it to understand the story in this mv
This song has a special place in armys hearts
so beautiful💜
The behind the scenes shooting for Save Me really shows their dedication to their craft, heh ... it was cold, raining, and windy and they were out there all day working on it since they were doing it in one take, so they needed to run through the whole thing multiple times. And of course, they aren't wearing coats during the actual shooting.
I just binge watched all your videos, you are an incredible person Caitlin, thank you for the reactions, love you
i just did too!
Same! They are great aren’t they!?
Me too!
I’m doing that right now, lol!
It makes me laugh that no matter how they dress and make-up Jin he totally fails to look badass.
@@butterbuttersbetter3689 ikr, jin just looks so soft for trying to be badass hshaha
@@butterbuttersbetter3689 you got me thinking about Actor Jin in a badass role lol

Spring Day makes me cry every time
I love all of the songs starting with their debut.
Your facial expressions are priceless,
The depth of your musical and lyrical understanding is gold,
your editing is hilarious
Thank you for making my day and making me laugh out loud every time you upload :)
You Nice Keep Going!!!
Also I'm looking forward to your bangtan universe storyline reactions and your analysis :)
All of this!
Im crying again watching Spring Day MV. This song is a legend, sad but full of hope and comfort. The "Queen" Spring Day will never die.
Save me is one of very top favourite songs by BTS! It was the song that made me an Army! Could not stop listening to it for a long long time! How time has gone by so fast! Look at where they are now... unbelievable 🙏🤯
Tears, laughter, dancing, humming, singing, longing, HOPE!... they bring the feelings for sure. Makes my life better. 💜
BTS makes ALL BOPS. Literally...hundreds of hits.
I’m saying! 👏🏼
Spring Day is like one of my all time favorite songs
it's so good
2 of their best songs and best videos that have made an impact. One video was a one shot while th he other may have been there most beautiful, impactful song ever...
Hobi' s part in save me is the best for me, his flow is insane🔥
(I'm commenting alot sorry🌚😂)
Watch the explanation by Italian army, it’s in Italian but there’s cc and it’s way more detailed than the one by bulletproof vibes
you should react to ''answer: love myself" it is such a beautiful song about self love
the iconic save me live at kcon was the first time bts left everyone shook with the synchronization i remember watching it that is when I feel deeply and strongly in more love with the
I get chills every time I see the spring day MV. Every. Time.
What i like about BTS is they're doing so many genres and their lyrics are soo deep.
Sometimes i wonder why they got so much hates. They don't deserved it 😥 they're such hardworkers and didn't do anything bad that againts the law
save me is a masterpiece it deserves more recognition❤& spring day is the queen of all songs period.💜
It got to me as well. It's a very emotional song that I can relate to on a whole personal level.
Spring day just hits different. She is a queen😭btw i love your reactions
Save me is one of my favorite lead tracks :)
Thank you for the video! I binged them up till now so now I'll get to follow your journey! Looking forward to the spring day explained and tiny desk concert :)
I hope you're having a good day!
Spring day always hits the hardest to me
When I went to college in the mainland I had to leave all my friends back at home in my island (home) and bc of the pandemic I haven’t been able to see them this year, making it 2 years since I’ve last been with them
Bts really capture that yearning for past friendships while still managing to express tht everything will inevitably be alright
Thank you for the reaction you are amazing 💜
I cry every time with this video! 😭 this was the video that got me into BTS. Time flies. 💜 this song/video is such a gem.💎
Welcome to your life after discovering BTS. 🔥
I absolutely love Spring Day especially Tae’s vocals loved all the members but his part gets me every time as soon as he sings “You know it all your my best friend” and bam I’m in tears 😭 💜
“could the clothes resemble the dead” wow you’re so smart usually no reactor gets that-
you should react to the meaning behind spring day because there’s so much more to it
Yes, these are two great music video....thank you for your reaction. There is so much to see from BTS and their choreography is amazing! 🙂💜
Now that you've heard all the songs they did for Tiny Desk. Its a live performance of these 2 songs and dynamite. Trust me you want to see it live. Look up tiny desk bts

I strongly recommend the dance practice and live performance of Spring Day. Very beautiful.
seriously I wouldn't mind seeing your reactions daily I love them !!
You'll understand the meaning by watching the bts storyline all their music videos is connected since then.💜💜
I dont know, i really like your reaction.
Spring Day gets me every damn time...
Hi Caitlin.. I discovered you yesterday and I love you and your videos.. 💜

hi caitlin! you are so pretty, i found your videos yesterday and i love your bts reactions :) i binged them all yesterday and subscribed & turned on your notifications immediately
thank you for reacting to the songs first 🥺
Spring day was written about their own experience.
@@VictoriaLovesMusic as i said it is open for interpretation and it was written by 9 people ofc it will have different meaning
And now they can say openly about what this song, official version is what they openly said, other things are speculation. I don't deny it has connection with tragedy, but at least 2 of the songwriters wrote it firstly thinking about their own experience
i recommend listening to don´t leave me, it is from one of their japanese albums and it´s so good, jin and jimin really shine in that one
I want u to know that I look forward to your reactions so much! I love ur personality!
Omg thank you so much! Means a lot! 🥺💜💜💜
Hi Caitlin! Yes, I go back to school tomorrow for work too--yuck. I have been so enjoying watching BTS videos all day! 😂
*off to watch*
I'm glad you did this before tiny desk. I felt like they elevated the songs by 100000000 doing tiny desk. Welcome to the rabbit hole army 💜
ALSO SIDE NOT CAITLIN YOU BY FAR HAVE SOME OF MY FAV REACTIONS LIKE I ENJOY WATCHING YOUR REACTIONS SO MUCH BECAUSE IT IS SO RELATABLE
Literally Two master pieces in their own way💜
*Save me* have a "complementary" song they released after, which is *I'm fine* and as the both titles show it's like phases, first they needed help but after that they managed to be fine ( you got the basic idea)
Even the melodies in both songs in the beginning are the same but reversed... They put such efforts in their work❤️
Btw You nice keep going 💜
two of my top songs from them... I recommend the ff based on my top songs :Airplane pt 2 , Just One Day, Magic Shop(no music video) Louder than Bombs(no music video),Epiphany (Jin solo),Danger,Truth Untold(vocal line) to name the least lol
I recommend watching the explanation videos about BTS songs. it really opens your eyes on the art and the meaning of the song
The way she quickly picked up their names without mixing them is astonishing
Welcome to the depth of the legend young lady.
yes jin said it in their recent variety interview or something.
They admit it various times thought the years that yes the video it is about the tragedy (the song is more about friendship but it is about the tragedy too) . Including the last one of Jin that you mention, im sorry about my poor English

I don't know why but Jin's whole style in save me looks like a gang leader *in a cool way*
There is this rlly interesting analysis video for spring day on yt! The person goes through the video step by step and just talks about references to the Korean movie "snowpiercer" and the book "omelas" and rlly does an in depth analysis of the video, the creator did another one for blood sweat and tears as well! They’re great! Just type in "spring day analysis" or sth XD
Oh it’s by "don’t worry I’m not afraid" :)
You have to watch blood sweat and tears!!!! Love your reactions 💕 💕 💕
The train's poorest residents, who live in the squalid caboose, plan to improve their lot by taking over the engine room."
Some people believe that the reference to Snowpiercer is focused around the social injustice done to the students who drowned on the ship because they were told to 'stay in their place' while the captain and crew abandoned the ship.
Others believe that it is a metaphor for the grieving process ... a train circling endlessly through a perpetual winter.
I think it is probably elements of both. I like, though, how JK seems to be alone on the train for most of the MV and towards the end the camera pans out and reveals the others were with him all along. And of course, this song is on their album "You Never Walk Alone."
And yes, the clothes represent the dead. It is actually based on a French art exhibit, although I don't remember who the artist is.
