Did anyone notice that there’s 2 voices singing this? I swear I hear a less softer voice singing this. As if Venti and the Nameless Bard are singing together. Venti also stops smiling when the Nameless Bard’s eyes are crossed out! I love the expressions and how you can tell they differ on personalities based on their face. The fact that the music stopped and only one person is singing the last verse just represents that the Nameless Bard isn’t there to sing along anymore. I just love it!
1. I like to headcanon that the nameless bard was reincarnated as a bird or something (kind of like how Vanessa is a Falcon) because of his wish to see a bird feather/bird and be free like one and then he literally _BECOMES ONE_ and then after that he either continues to reincarnate, is like essentially immortal, and/or he has descendents and he (and/or his descendents) continues to watch over Venti. 2. It's not exactly the same thing but I like to imagine that my OC (who knows who Venti is/knows his backstory) just lets him chill out on her shoulder/holds him in her hands when he's in his wisp form whenever he's feeling lonely, sentimental, or misses his friend so that he can kind of go back to happier days and get some comfort. And it's just this adorable mental image...
Ive listened to this five times since I found it yesterday. Honestly, it's so beautiful and the voice crack at 'lasting scars' makes my heart hurt everytime.
Venti's side story is one of my favorite, this song really got the feels for it , I love this, a beautiful tune , a beautiful voice for this great genshin lore 😃
