Xtrons Head Unit Install (OEM Equipment Removal) | BMW 540i E39 Part 2 of 3

I decided to do this video in 3 parts as otherwise it would have been way too long. Part 1 is of unboxing the android headunit. Part 2 is removal of all the OEM Equipment to make way for the Xtrons Hardware & Part 3 will be installation of the Xtrons head unit. I'll be doing a separate video on the Resler Interface USB install. I filmed this back in early December 2019 and got very busy and this content got buried.

Hello i need a help please can i run the head unite without the cable extension and bypass the amplifier or there is no way to make it run without the 6m cable extension thanks 🙏

@@Allblackaura no i did not and i quit the idea of buying those after market units . I have bin running my car since then without a radio

@@anismadi318I have dps but the previous owner removed all the dps system in the back so there is no way for me to even use the extension cable 🥲

@@kitvexed8229 I actually got it to work. :) Was plug and play, when i found out where to connect the 5 meter long cable. :) But uhm.. I dont know how to remove all the stuff to route the cables neatly.. For now.. I have Apple Carplay that works :D Still waiting on part 3 though.. Hoping Mr Khan will show us how to remove the carpet, to route the cables :)
I also had absolutely NO idea what i was doing..

@@BlueCheeseDK right on brother! im patiently waiting as it seems these units are into the next iteration monthly! it's worse than cell phones or televisions lol.. by the time he posts part 3 they'll be android 20.0 lol. i gotta see the next part before the generation change is so far out that none of this is current anymore hahaa
