    Vinegar Syndrome gives the best treatment to the worst films. The best restorations and transfers, the best packaging. I am addicted.

    I all ready knew about the types of films they have all came out with because i had a Super 8 silent and sound projector and my dad had a 8mm protector and i remember watching movies on a 16mm movie projector which it was one of my dads that was silent and of course the ones into the Movie Theater are 35mm sound projectors i have been upstairs watching just how the 35mm movie projectors were where you would have to change a reel over again and you cannot change those bobs around because if you do you can get your hand cut off so i learned this when i was on high school project wanting to know what it is like to work inside a movie theater which that was in my freshman year in high school which i never forget

    I should be down there with you guys restoring 100-year old films and very unusual foreign movies. I need to stop wasting my time on the internet and actually watch the 1000 movies I have ordered from VS over the last 5 years.

    Next time we'll be talking about sound mixing, or the art of setting volume levels high enough so that your audience can understand the dialog without cranking their TV's volume up to three times its normal level. See you then!

    • @michaelbodalski
      @michaelbodalski Год назад +10

      The company is named after the process where cellulose triacetate (film) releases acetic acid as it degrades. Acetic acid being the chemical in vinegar that give it the smell you associate with vinegar. Thus the process of film degradation is know as vinegar syndrome, and if you are a film archivist, you hate it.

    STOP to RE-PRINT SLIPS! is unethical, you promise LIMITED EDITIONS! when SOLD OUT is SOLD OUT, NO MORE REPRINTS!!! is a slap in the face to collectors!!!

    • @JohnSmith-zl8rz
      @JohnSmith-zl8rz 9 месяцев назад

      @@xxxWolFangxxx Many collectors thinks the same, I'm not alone, VS lie to us! his limited editions are not limited editions anymore! thanks to that damn! reprints. Many collections pay a lot money for those slips like Blood Hook, now the value down thanks to the Greed of VS, VS turns in a money grab company, is a shame becuase we support them since the beginnings and lie to us! Please understand a product that is limited should stay limited, if they say 1000 by example are 1000 copies forever! simple as that.
