so if i understand right with this family, father absorbs electrical energy and stores it for use meaning his powers have a limit depending on how much he uses, one daughter is a generator and makes energy instead and seems to need to discharge now and again to stay in control and the other daughter seems to have control of the kinetic energy and density of her own body.
I like the detail of her being insanely powerfull i mean look at the many children of comic superheroes and look how much more powerful they are then there parents (ex: Franklin Richards)

Given how old Jefferson is in the show, how reluctant she was to embrace her powers, the fact that she got a lot more character focus than her sister, not to mention how powerful she is, I thought that the title of the show was referring to her. That she would start off as Lightning but eventually succeed her dad as Black Lightning, with the show serving as her origin story. Needless to say I was wrong but it Would have been cool if they went in that direction.

I am just now getting into Black Lightning. Seriously I just started watching it on Netflix a few days ago. I am at the point where Lady Eve dies. Spoilers do not bother me though lol so watching stuff like this video in which they show ahead is not an issue with me.

She just transformed into her energy form and the poison just burned out of her bloodstream because she was pure energy.

She really doesn’t have that weakness anymore, that came from her fragile mental state and her body evolving as her powers evolved. When most animals evolve they go through this fever like state that’s cause their body is burning and multiplying cells

They had low ratings. Which is kind of sad because I was finally starting to get into after the dc crossover and gravedigger came into the picture. That gave it the boost it really needed. I think if they took the approach the had in season three from the start, the ratings would've been so much better.
If I remember correctly, there was this lady meta human who can create some sort of "dream world" and has access to someone's conscience. She consulted Jennifer because Jen was having trouble controlling her power. 3:53 showed how Jen saw herself as a threat/monster which is one of the main reasons why she couldn't control it, because she didn't accept her powers.
