Bronte Kings - First trip for 2022

Our first trip to Bronte as the water on the south shore was cold and no bait to be found.
We ventured outside Bronte harbor where staging Kings have started to congregate. We found warmer water that was holding bait; that was a pleasant sight on the graph. The Kings were present too, nice marks on the screen.
This is a popular area for all fishermen, from charter boats, weekend warriors, regulars and even kayaks. This trip was a Saturday morning and that means lots of vessels! We like to call it Combat Fishing because some guys are just f-in ignorant and it doesn't matter if you have a fish on or not, they won't give you space. We didn't experience any issue this trip but I heard of a few losing gear this day due to others getting to close or cutting in behind them.
My theory is get in early and get your fish and get the hell out early.
Bronte is a fall favorite of ours despite the goofs. #We Will Fish On
