Yes, he should have more patience and restraint. I thought so for all, and technically, he should, but most that come on have already spoken to him or go in trying to do a gotcha with Sam with no intent to learn or change. The other problem is cognitive dissonance, where two different truths are before them, and because they have been conditioned most of their lives, they can't come to terms with "thee" truth ✝️ and their own truth, so they dance around it deliberately in order not to address the very clear facts. The problem is that they would have to renounce their faith in Islam, and that's nearly impossible as their family, friends, and environment surround them all the time, and this would uproot them so this is why cognitive dissonance kicks in to try and makes excuses as to why his or her faith is correct. I, too, believe that his approach can also prevent him from getting through to the person because it creates a flight or flight response, and at this point, the mind will try to protect itself over and above the cognitive dissonance and that is a worse state to be in. I, too, believe that his approach can also prevent him from getting through to the person because it creates a flight or flight response, and at this point, the mind will try to protect itself over and above the cognitive dissonance and that is a worse state to be in.
