I really always despised Andrew Schultz, because he thinks he’s so smart and even worse is he thinks he’s one of those clever, smarmy assholes that believes everyone thinks he is charming. He’s wrong on both fronts! In fact Schultz is always wrong about all his takes. At least Rogan gets 3 out of ten predictions right! But for Schultz to utter the words that Patrice will be forgotten in comedy is one of the most ridiculous statements ever heard. Patrice jokes about society are relevant conversations in 2022 that is amazing. And unforgettable. Let’s not forget the black Phillip tapes.
What type of person calls patrice there hero then says patrice will be forgotten by comedy?? What clown Schultz is! Patrice would call both of these guys goofy’s dudes!

Watching Patrice he never felt like a stereotypical comedian. He had a unwavering honesty about him where it didn’t feel like he was going through a set so much as he was being his unfiltered self and it happened to be hilarious. He would say anything and everything he felt about anything no matter how raw, wrong, inappropriate etc people would see it as and couldn’t give less of a fuck about how you felt about it. But he would always come at it from a place of honesty, there was never any malice in anything he was saying and the audience could sense that in his delivery which allowed them to be honest about how they felt about it and laugh. He pulled that out of them. There’s times he wouldn’t even try to make people laugh but would still end up killing anyways. I’m convinced that was what his nasty show was supposed to be. Still killed me regardless. He’s definitely one of the goats

I don't think Patrice will ever be forgotten ,he's gaining new fans by the minute , I'm a fan of comedy and I stumbled upon Patrice 3 years ago listening to old clips of O&A show and i said it cant get better than this , that's why he'll always be my no 1 comedian ,but what I hated about this documentary since it's about honesty and ''how honest Patrice was '' is the fact that Anthony Cumia was out of the picture , how can you have a Patrice documentary and not include Cumia !? I know cumia reputation precedes him , but come on ! not even a minute !? these two had 100s of hours of the funniest interactions I had ever heard on a the radio !

But I loved him on O & A, Black Phillip, his appearances on Alex Jones even more. Dude was just a different thinker and the documentary tells you that he was like that even as a young kid. Luckily there are still tons of hours of his radio stuff out there I havent heard. Man I'd love to hear his take on the world today. From the race bull shit, to the Me Too stuff, Trump, conspiracy stuff going mainstream...theres so much I want to hear his take on. I'd pay to see a podcast will Burr, both of them just shitting all over each other as 2 of the biggest comics in the world. As crazy as the world has become theres still a giant thirst for a voice like his and he'd be the biggest comic in the world today, self sabotaging or not. Rogan would not have the biggest podcast in the world if he was around. He'd be doing stadiums bigger than Chappelle. Its too bad...because in todays scene he could have done it all without dealing with all the backstage bullshit he didnt like dealing with.

The ONLY thing I disagreed with in this really great talk was the last bit on comedy history. Mainstream comedy and comedy history is like the Oscar's, that shit no longer matters. Do you care what movies win an award? Or the actors who get them? No. Why? Because there is no more soul in movie making. Same thing with mainstream music. Who cares who's number 1 because its all so vapid.
Patrice lives on in the people who loved what he did. I dont think Patrice would mind if "Philip" the cheesy soccer dad, "Karen" the proverbial housewife, or the clichéd pop culture society knows or remembers him. I think all that matters is the people he respected will and those of us who his comedy did impact will always remember him. Its all about the quality, not the quantity. Quantity is the corporate world model; "How many views can we sell?", "How many sponsors did we get this month?", "Did we say anything to offend any demograph to hurt our viewer ratings or sponsorships?"... That is what got us here now where everything feels meaningless... But there is now a sort of Awakening happening where people are beginning to break free and do their own thing regardless of what the corporate world wants and these people are going to be the winners in the end... And it was Patrice who was a big catalyst for that change in the mindset of people being conformists to a vapid society they hate.

While mentioning influences, it was mentioned that Patrice gained a bit of his ability to speak freely without fear from Mr. Corey Holcombe, after watching Corey speak about women in a certain tone that most people were scared to do.

I feel that some documentaries try to fit people into a mould of their friend's and loved one's opinions which is true but we should not forget that Patrice rose above these people by his morality and his standards of keeping it real .So I am just skeptical that this not so well made documentary (ruclips.net/video/dA5VJDptD0M/видео.html&ab_channel=BeigeFrequency) might reduce his stature in some way .

Patrice O'Neal's philosophy is so needed right now. Without any doubt the greatest comedian of all time. Truly the GOAT of comedy

A good comedian makes people laugh,
a great comedian makes comedians laugh.
Patrice is one of the few comics that managed to do both.
    RIP Patrice.

I love Patrice. Plenty of talented comics in the world. But I have never laughed harder than I did with Patrice's standup. This conversation really reminds me why I miss Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn so much. On any given night you would have some combination of Patrice, Keith Robinson, Greg Geraldo (RIP), Jim Norton, and Nick Dipaolo on a panel!!! It didn't get much better than that.

He was and remains the best by a million miles. No offense to other comedians such as Bill Burr, G Carlin or Dave Chappelle etc but Patrice was OBVIOUSLY miles ahead

”Our bank account appreciates you Patrice!”.
Akash, that quote, i think will make Patrice feel proud. Honesty sprinkled with a side of humble. I respect all of you. Stay blessed🙏🏿
