Also the rating of 4.72.... Too much risk. I don't drive people with a rating lower than 4.9 to 4.85.
I never give any rider a rating lower than 5.0 and most of them tip, especially the ones I pick up at the airport. So far everyone has been nice. Someone lowered my rating for some unknown reason so it's down to 4.90. If people refuse to communicate then I won't know they were not happy. I also think that most never drove so their rating is a mute point as a backseat rider. As long as they arrive at their destination safely within a reasonable amount of time, they should be happy. No one in the world is perfect.
Some asshole rider claimed there was an accident or incident during a ride which was complete bullshit. They wouldn’t take my word on it but believed the rider. I had to get an inspection from a certified shop before driving again .
The bad thing is their is a driver out their that will take it. Screwing the rest of us Drivers. 99% of uber riders don't tip.
Sometimes it says VIP that you pick up at the airport for $6.65. I start to think Uber employees get hired to do only one job: screw drivers.
when lyft says vip solutions it is workers comp and they are paying for it and also means no tip

Uber X is now a poor man's game. Low earnings plus racking up mileage and maintenance costs. X earnings for drivers is lowest in history, Comfort now pays like X used to, and XL pays like Comfort used to. Thanks, Dara!

I got to tell you. I've seen $5.84 for 20 mins. 10 miles. I have screen shots. Uber used to pay 8 dollars for 20 mins. now I only see 6 dollars for 20 mins.

It actually gets worse then that. The worst is when they wait until you pull up to their house and then ad a stop or right after they get in your car. PISSES ME OFF! I always cancel the ride if they ad a stop after I agree to the first deal.
Should be against terms to add stops after the first deal is made! ESP since many times they don’t pay any extra for an added stop.
I’m declining those rides for $2,$3 and $5 and they deprioritize me for reserves and other rides. I called and they said I need to except all rides because my acceptance rate is low at 7%. They said stop cherry picking or you will be deactivated. I told them if I choose all these low ball rides I will make around $300 a day but have $200 in gas and maintenance cost. The deprioritization is leading to less reserves and low cost rides. Smh
It’s the same here in San Francisco with all the traffic, bike line bus line homeless crossing, and the middle of the street is not worth it
Even worse than that is Lyft allowing people to make $2-$4 reservations...... dont forget to show up early and wait longer as they block you from other rides ahead of time, so now add up all that time u invest in a super cheap ride. I think that was Lyft's mistake and to add insult to injury, after evefy sane driver ignores those requests (reservations) now Lyft will have to pay those riders for not geting a ride $20
Lyft is the joke . I only use XL on thier platform and only drive on bonus peak hours. 90% I got requests are 1-2 person reservation trip no tips that being say long wait Costomer. Or i would get no trip request in 2 hours unless u turn on regular Lyft / share / confort pay are garbage 🗑️
I do Uber Eats and the last two weeks the orders have been unusually low. It's to the point now that I think Uber is stealing tips to pay for the NYC drivers wages

I drove in the Milwaukee Market. They are taking 55 percent of the fare. Business is down and revenue is down. It appears that people are staying home. There are very little couples going out on Friday/ Saturday night. To bars and restaurants from the burbs to downtown Milwaukee. I used to book roundtrips around 100.00 with tip each. Could do 3 or 4 trips on Weekend evenings.
Here in Chicago, Thursday, Friday, Saturday nights used to be very busy with surges all the time. Now it is dead, like you said about Milwaukee. Why are ppl not going out and bar hopping? 😢

I have received many Uber "Blind Rides" with final earnings of around $4.50 CAD (Canadian Dollar) here in Toronto, Canada, which is equivalent to or less than the same amount of US $3.33 in this RUclips video!
The problem here in Toronto, Canada is that the Drivers are Receiving "Blind Rides" with Unkown Destinations, Unkown Directions, Unknown Distances, and Unkown Earnings, so we do not know how much Uber would pay us at the end of an Uber Ride when we completed the trip!
I got a trip for 12mile ride and Lyft said I would make $12 upfront pay but got paid $2.50 only. We need to strike back ASAP!!!

I have the worst experience ever ," MISSING TRIP" from dashboard. I picked up and dropped off Rider and the apps gone hay wire and the trip that I have just finished all gone. I called and the call center did shit to help and he said he will give it to special team. I got the email and said it will take 48 hours to put it into dashboard,. WTF Uber is getting worst and treat drivers like slave.
They even pay less in Miami Beach I swear to god.
Lets don't take trips under $5.00 of course chequing time and distance to be convenient. So all $2.89, $3.00 trips are going to be at least $5.00.
Or they will send VIP trips, and I asked one of the VIP riders. What did it mean and they simply told me it’s just them paying for a “UBER MEMBERSHIP that includes comfort/electric and also I’ve gotten “ priority”trips as well and that only meant that to them their trip will be “urgent” I guess if they are in a rush and or just incase there 1st driver canceled them do the “Priority”. In which I’ve NEVER seen an increase in the pay so I no longer except them AT ALL unless they are longer trips and with a hefty pay. Because UBER has it bad sending people who Drive NEWER EV’s all them damn SPOILED ass riders but won’t give us the perks of their driver. So I decline until it’s worth me moving my car…….

In my area of Western Michigan lowest minimum for Quest is 50 trips Fri-Sun. In order to get the 50 trips and get Quest (usually $50-110) I have to accept these small $ trips!! It is insulting but w/o these trips it can lead to not making the min of 50 trips!

90% of uber fares are a fking joke now. Most of my time is spent rejected rides until something that's worth a shit pops up. And fk if I understand how they decide the rates. I got all these offers for rides going 4 and 5 miles for 4 and 5 bucks. Nope Nope Nope... Finally one pops up for 6 bucks going 2 miles. I figure what the hell. I get there and there's four fking people! And they're big girls too. Then one pops up for 5 miles for 26 bucks. So I snatched it. I figure they're gonna fill my car with people but it's just one lady going to a party. They don't make sense sometimes.

Uber playing supply vs demand. There are simply too many drivers and more getting in daily. Using expensive cars and SUVS. Uber eats even worse. Just accept the fact that the gig economiy is mostly dead and is mostly a way to supplement an hourly income. I spoken to lot of drivers who only do it for extra money. The rides share company knows it. They throw crumb at the drivers and they take it. The company call the shots. Also riders have to be educated and most know the company keeps half of what they pay.
