You could have Boseiju'd the shifting woodland in response to them activating it to become omniscience. It would have been destroyed and the activation would have fizzled
The Six + Fury interaction is crazy! Throw some Beans or Cabaretti Revels in the mix and it seems like you might be able to win or go off and draw a ton of cards.
Bro found the infinite fury glitch 💀💀💀💀💀 good video takobyte and remember me (im the guy who pointed out how you couldve won a game in your mill deck video)
Okay, I'm pretty sure the Six/Fury interaction is a bug. That is, you should be able to Evoke Fury from the graveyard, but you should still have to discard a land to do it. I found a comment on the MagicTCG subreddit from 25 days ago claiming that this Six also lets you Evoke Nulldrifter without discarding a land, so I assume all Evoke cards are bugged like this.
@@Takobyte No, Retrace is an additional cost, Evoke is an alternate cost. They should work together. Either way I posted about it on /r/askjudges. The only reply I got so far agrees that it's a bug. There's apparently a patch today so I'll wait for the patch notes, and if they didn't fix it I'll report it to WotC.
@@Takobyte It should be a bug. Per rule 702.74, Evoke is an alternative cost and per rule 702.81 Retrace is an additional cost. The alternative cost of evoke should replace only the base mana cost and not any additional costs. Per rule 601.2f, "The total cost is the mana cost or alternative cost (as determined in rule 601.2b), plus all additional costs and cost increases, and minus all cost reductions." So for this interaction, we start with the alternative cost of exiling a red card, then add in the additional cost of discarding a land.
@@L_O_V_E_L_A_I_N it's pretty rare for MTGA client to have a ruling bug so I was so sure it wasn't a bug! But I think you are right here after looking at the rules.
I'm always bringing in blood moon against shifting woodland omni-tell, even 2 color. It's strange to me not to. It's gotta be better than bonecrusher. It's one of my premium pieces of interaction from my perspective...
I punted game 2 where I could've won because I forgot one ability of a card 😅let's see if you guys can find the answer.
Roiling Vortex? Lol
I always forget it has 3 abilities

@@ADTRS25 yes! Definitely missed that too lol
You also punted game1 by naming Cauldron Familiar with Pithing Needle.
@@Enja_Near naming cauldron familiar prevents the cat from coming down with samwise soultrader loop. I wouldn't consider that a punt 😅

Not a bug. I actually think replacing the casting cost is correct ruling.
JUDGE!

nice
Great...that means Six works with all the evoke cards. You've just made Timeless more of a nightmare. ETB hate is getting better and better.
It'll get patched out. It's a bug. Evoke doesn't replace additional costs.
So Evoke says from hand. Is this a bug?
i think so
