@slickcross I personally don't think he meant it that way. I personally perceived it as him saying that when you pray to God and commit your problems to him, that God has already defeated your problems all you have to do is trust in God to see you through.
Even though Calvin killed it on the album, I like the stripped down feel so drummer especially can hear the pocket and hear the song. People can get caught too much into Calvin instead of the God that reigns over Calvin, and Calvin will tell you that!
Nice song. Only "problem" i have with the lyrics is when he sings "Good-bye problems" Thats the only part of the song that isn't Biblical. We are always going to have problems John 16:33. “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” Problems are necessary to grow.
