Hi David. Glad this helped you. I didn’t go into this in this video but you would usually correct each clip and then use LUTs on an adjustment layer and then just make minor tweaks to make all the clips match 🎥
Very helpful,Sam. How can i balance shooting 4k60 or 4k120 in log at high native ISO and also get a shallow DOF? Typically high iso leads to narrow aperture and deep DOF, no?
I started selling LUTs with them awhile back before I even really knew anything about video but Caleb is a genius and converter my presets over. Such a good setup.
Colour cards are used to set a standard across multiple cameras so make sure they match 🙏🏻 and also check exposure, contrast and saturation. Hope this helps 🤩🎥

At the beginning of this video you made a promise to the viewers: "I'm going to give you the magic bullet that will tie all of this together..." And then you broke that promise at the end by telling the viewers they have to watch a whole other video for that magic bullet.

There seem to be people that start from LOG and immediately apply a creative LUT and do the basic corrections after. Any thoughts on that?

You said Log profile would give you the most dynamic range. Should you recommend instead RAW video?
