How does the color theory work for someone who is actually colorblind ?
@@flowers5019 it's all about the names. A group of 10 people who aren't colorblind will all recognize the same color as red, but each one could be seeing a different color in their mind. Someone whose colorblind would mix up *their* own color system and could call it green.

@@flowers5019 ok so we see apples as red, even though we cant exactly describe red, we still know what it looks like to us. and we see brown as a different color, for example the color of wood. So even though we cant describe red or brown, we know that apples are red and wood is brown, and that if someone was calling an apple brown they're colorblind? idk if that made sense lmao

I agree with Chris' research habits tho lol, and wanting to get the background knowledge. cuz when talking about these mythological creatures, there's a bunch of different mythologies (like, hundreds), and they each tend to give different (whether vague or vast) descriptions on these creatures. they even have different perspectives on societies and their role within the grand scheme of things. and all the different gods and all the different creatures. lol I took a Humanities in Greek Mythology course last semester and learned a lot in that class. it was honestly so fun. also about the evolution thingy, I definitely think that we could evolve to prolong our underwater exposure. idk about fully having gills and breathing underwater, but, possibly idrk. cuz keep in mind evolution takes place over *millions* of years. and it's impossible for our brains to even fathom that measurement of time. we cannot truly rationalize something like that. like, the longest a person has ever lived is 122 years old I think. and that amount of time is pretty reasonable to comprehend right. but out of a million years, that's less than 1% 😐😭 actually it's only 0.000122% of it. but this is also considering that the human race survives another million years lol. also, to the portal thing, I believe it too. at least to a certain degree. cuz theoretically, (according to quantum mechanics and string theory), "teleportation" or "portals" are possible. oh and the slow time thingy, yes. like for example around black holes, time moves slower due to the gravitational pull. because, in theory, black holes create a "dip" in the fabric of the universe. which directly affects time. so time does move slower in different parts of the universe. not necessarily on earth tho. and the thingy about color blindness, yeah lol. it's just a difference in perspective. and we actually talked about this in my philosophy class. how we can never see something the same way that someone else sees things. that we may see something a certain way, but someone else sees it a different way. and the main thing we talked about was color. so, it's definitely not a conspiracy theory, it's real lol. dating all the way back to Kant and his philosophy I believe. and yes I comprehended what y'all were talking about lol. this is like, an everyday thing in philosophy so if that interests you 👀 I highly recommend taking philosophy classes. they're so fun. this also coming from a philosophy major 💀
