First time I did SEO for a big company in my country and the results where instant (close to 4 months), new domain + had money for links and it works way faster than just writing content. We even are very close to beat our 1 competitor and we have only like 62 pages (including the landing pages/ services pages)

Hi Matt, so when creating a topical map, do you consider keywords that are returned by ahrefs with 10 searches/month or something like that? Do you filter them by search volume?
Great video matt. I think for people starting out focusing on a topical map or topical authority is a waste of time as they won’t have any authority. Unlike diggity marketing which has a DR of 77. Wouldn’t a focus of building links first to boost authority make sense first rather than spending countless hours on creating content? I get you need high quality content to link to but I think creating a topical map first would not be needed. A bit of a chicken or the egg scenario..

Pull the headings, put it in a google doc, and then basically copy the content, and maybe re-write some stuff to make it different. Then I post the blog on my website.... Will this get ranked? Is that what you're saying? Because that is an insanely competitive keyword, and I don't see how I could ever get ranked on page one for that term or anything related. Im trying so hard to learn all this, but It feels overwhelming, and like im never going to be able to get to all of this money everyone claims to be making.

This makes me think about the increasing importance of backlinks more than ever.
