Such a dicey business.... when words are forbidden bc swords are in use.... i guess some words are swords.... and the goal stays "to contain the war and prevent its spread throughout society".....

My question, Rabbi, would be this.
Many of the ancient died and/or were put to death for their transgressions.
King Saul is coming to my mind.
Interesting fact about Saul is that Dante Aligheri happens up Saul, Rehoboam and Holofernes in the 2nd part of the Divine Comedy, Purgatory.
Earlier last week you taught us that we do not require an intermediary between us and HaShem.
Do you know, is it even possible to know, without directly asking HaShem, is the same is true for the dead.
And perhaps one of the mysteries of Resurrection of the Dead lies with this notion of redeeming those who are no longer among the living.
I don't know tho. But this lecture inspired the thought chain.
I trust that by putting the thought/question before you is at the same time showing HaShem that this may be worth putting on the docket for projects to work this year
    Thank for sharing this.

All people are God's people. God doesn't speak during war time because Reason and understanding of others are Not present. Your nature and your life is all that's focused on. Not the family and life of the ones being killed by both sides. God doesn't pick a side. You have 3 choices in life. Do harm to others, do nothing towards others or help others? what are you doing? When you can't see reality of your actions can you even see what your doing to yourself and others?
