I’m looking to get a new bike soon and I was looking at this bike and the roscoe 8, I am an intermediate rider and don’t do anything too serious on trails, should I spend the $300 more for the 8 or just go with the 7?

The Roscoe is more of a trail bike whilst the x caliber is more a cross country bike
I chose this bike for the duality of putting wheels also 29. And I wanted to test the traction of a tire plus and how it behaves downhill

get a fatbike, the TREK Farley is awesome. I have the Farley 5.
