Thanks for posting this MasNour II. This is one of my favorite DP albums. Tommy didn't have quite have the flash that Ritchie had, but was still an amazing guitar player in his own right. This album is proof of that. RIP Tommy and we all know who truly listened to your work that you were underrated as a guitarist.

Esse disco é sensacional!! Paradoxalmente foi um disco rejeitado pelos fãs do Deep Purple em 1975. Contudo, se tornou com o tempo um dos LPs mais amados da banda!
I feel if this album was released under a different name other than Deep Purple it would have gotten it's just due. It is a brilliant album of the 70s. But most hardcore Deep Purple fans reject it.
Ian Paice excellent as ever. Album holds its own to the previous album Stormbringer. I felt that way back in October 1975 and I still feel that way. ✌️
la mescla perfecta entre el sonido pesado de la era Gillan y la influencia Funk de Glen Hughes. Tremendo guitarrista don Tommy Bolin, una lastima que su carrera durara tan poco.
Huh? I was just thinking this isn't even one of the best Deep Purple albums..... I would say it comes in about 12 on just that list, and this is their tenth album. Anyway, to each their own. God Bless!

I saw them in back in 75 or 76 with Tommy Bolin on guitar. Great concert. I had this on 8 track, yes, I'm an old man. Sure wish I could go back in time and relive those great days.
hey, mate! I clearly remember when I got this record at the record store in my home town. I have loved it so much since that, and I still love it. I met Ian Paice in 2012, and he kindly agreed to sign some stuff: he looked surprised when I showed him this record, Live in the heart of the city, and the DVD at the Cavern Club with David Gilmour.
As a fan of Deep Purple and Mr Tommy Bolin I love this I have a lot of Tommy's music solo, with Deep Purple, James Gang, Billy Cobham Zephyr, Tommy Bolin is a great musician and songwriter, singer who put out so much great music in a period of around 6 years approximately so many different styles all played well
Excellent release. I bought this on vinyl in 78. I was 12 years old and already that deep into the Deep Purple catalog. I liked this better than Burn and Stormbringer combined. Tommy Bolin was incredible.
I’m loving the remix WAY more than I ever loved the original version… which I bought in Germany a week after it was released. The Inclusion of alternate and extra guitar tracks makes this extremely special for fans of Tommy. The original version was good but Tommy played so much more that never made the album…. Understandable that some of the slide work on Drifter was a bit flat in places… but so what….other tracks are just on fire! Great work Kevin!
It’s a really great album.I bought it when it came out and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was as I was disappointed that Blackmore had left .It’s a lot better than Stormbringer .I really don’t get why it’s often slated .

Great and underrated album from DP. Their last studio effort of the 70s and 9 years before the reformation of DP mk2. The original LP had horrible sound production, almost as bad as Machine Head. Compression in hard rock sucks and there's a lot of it here. This album would have had higher regard as well had Purple continued through the late 70s. Unfortunately Tommy Bolin had his head up his ass getting too wasted to play properly on tour, dragging the band down with him. Both he and band would be gone a year later. Too bad they didn't get a level headed guitar player to replace Bolin and keep going.
Was at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame couple months ago when I got to Deep Purple’s signed plaque there’s no Tommy Bolin signature on it. I asked why it wasn’t on there? Got no answer……
