Yep. Kinda sad to see this old man strain to reach the notes, dragging around the stage. Considering the raw power he had 45 years ago, this is unfortunately a whimper and not a bang. BUT we were lucky to have them when we did!

This is lots of fun and I so glad the DP is continuing on. However, this doesn't capture the insane energy that Space Trucking/Mandrake Root/Fools/Mandrake Root did from Made In Japan. Ritchie Blackmore forever.
Blackmore is a prick. When he knew that Ian could no longer sing Sweet Child in Time because it would kill his vocal cords, he used to play the opening notes in concert to force him into it because he loved seeing him suffer.
I seen them a few years ago, it did look like he was in pain trying to hit the highs, felt bad for him , he set the bar high with all the screaming , he use to do .

While Led Zeppelin is still #1, I think we all can agree Deep Purple destroys Black Sabbath! I also think there's a bigger gap between Purple and Sabbath than Zeppelin and Purple.

The Beatles were great and are more classic, but Led Zeppelin took it several levels higher.

The jam part of this song has been totally omitted (this song used to be nearly 20 minutes long when they played it live in the 70s), and Gillan can't hit the high notes anymore. He also looks quite bothered while he is singing nowadays. I love Deep Purple but they should have retired long time ago.

Ian Gillan should retire. Or at least not sing live. He still sounds great on the new album. But he sucks live. Always did though. He keeps fudging the lyrics. Can you get another singer just for the live versions, I wonder?
Absolute crap! I have been a Deep Purple fan since they started,and although Pacey and glover can still play,Gillan is past it.It is an insult to the memory of Jon Lord to carry on.
