I keep the sunchokes stems as they work well for pea supports.

Good to hear that Mrs K is on the mend. I've just harvested and dried all my carlins. Great crop but I fancy growing mangetout next year. I've got a squash of some variety growing. Haven't a clue which variety but rain and sun will bring it on nicely
