- For your listening pleasure here is a collection of Ki Ho’alu a/k/a Hawaiian Slack Key guitar instrumentals. This compilation includes both energetic and relaxed tunes, though I’d say the overall vibe is relaxing. I like to listen to some of those longer “relaxing music” videos while working on the computer and became inspired to produce some videos featuring my own performances. Hope you enjoy.

Thank you so much for your music. It is vibrant, fun, and I can tell you have put a lot of effort into becoming a musician. It brings to mind Hawaii and the wonderful place it is. I am sure there is a love hate relationship with tourists there, but it's hard to blame them for coming because what a beautiful place!

Love this! It actually kinda has a old skool country music instrumental feel to it too. Actually kind of leans more towards it. Which I prefer lol. Good stuff. Helped me calm down. Great feel and dynamics and execution. 10 out of 10

It's interesting that you say that. Slack Key guitar is basically Hawaiian "country" music. It is a style of playing that was brought to Hawaii by spanish cowboys who came to teach Hawaiian cowboys how to "cowboy", and brought that style of music/playing with them. Which was taken by the paniolo and added to. Some of those additions were incorporating some of the more "American West" vibes, when those cowboys, and when that music made it here...and in some cases it went the other way, with Hawaiian slack key also influencing "cowboy music" on the mainland.
small correction: those original pianolos were Spanish speaking vaqueros from Mexico, not from Spain.
