I had FESS, bilat septoplasty and turbinate reduction 3 weeks ago. I have a history of chronic migraines. My migraines are worse now during recovery but yout video reassures me that hopefully in 2 to 3 months things will be better. Thank you
@@kauaireed9006 I'm 6 months post op now and I wish I could say it's worth it but I'm still having sinus issues and now I have sensitivity between my eyes. I hope your results will be better
Thank you for the video. how can i stop water entering ear station tube during sinus rinses, i get a trouble pain in my ear .it is the fourth week of my sinus polyps surgery
Oh. My. Goodness. I am four days post ESS and starting yesterday I got one of the worse headaches I have ever had. (I do get migraines.). I took a migraine med but it didn't touch it. Still hurts today but not as excruciating as yesterday. Teeth: oh, yes: the roots of every tooth are throbbing with pain. And then there's the shooting pain in my left ear...and now that the pain is actually worse, the doctor won't give me any more pain meds (which I totally understand; because of regulatory issues); but, that doesn't make it any easier to get through the day. Very helpful and affirming video.
My daughter already suffered from severe depression before her sinus surgery a year ago. Her symptoms are worse with new issues. I would not be surprised if she unalives herself because of her suffering. She know has a throbbing headaches that gets worse with lying down therefore she sleeps sitting up. I feel she's walking on the edge and I cannot do anything to help her.
Headaches are discussed in the video...they can worsen post-op but get better during recovery...recovery could be weeks...get a Doc. to explain to her...and...some meds for alleviating the headaches a bit. Lying down will make it worse...of course she should sleep sitting up...we were told to keep hubby's head elevated during sleep. She is in 'recovery' and needs to understand that. Is her depression being treated?
Husband had sinus surgery with a deviated septum fixed also...6.5 weeks ago. He began having nosebleeds beyond drainage at two weeks...saw Doc...then began hemorrhaging at 4 weeks...needed surgery to correct...lost 3 units of blood, almost crashed. He is now VERY anemic, of course...very fatigued. Now there is a drainage of light mucous that is yellowish-amber. We are worried. His blood pressure remains low as well. I guess he is at the far end of 'complications'.
