My heart is aching for you! My prayers to all of you as you work through the pain of the loss of your grandmother. You’re so right one can never prepare for that loss. 7 months ago I lost my mom. Miss her every day. Just keep her wonderful memories in mind. Prayers forBryce s well. Our pets are such a big part of our families.

Genevieve, I'm so sorry for your loss, my prayers are with you. Last year was my worst year. My younger sister passed in September and my mom passed in November. The holidays were tough on my other sister & I.

Oh sweet girl, I'm so sorry about the loss of your grandma😢. It's never easy to lose a loved one no matter how "prepared" we think we are. Praying for your little Bryce 🙏🙏 I know that he is like a child to you, that's how they become especially if you don't have children yet. We had a Pomeranian,sweet little girl,she was our baby before we were blessed with our daughter,we had her for 16 years,and I still miss her😢😢. Love and prayers for you and your family 🙏💞

Just a thought, it would be wise to take pictures of all of your dishes and antique finds and make a inventory binder for insurance purposes just in case something happened beyond your control. Oh Genevieve I’m so sorry about your grandmother! And I will absolutely pray for your Bryce, my beloved Tagg is having issues too! We think it’s cancer we live pretty rural and haven’t been able to get a vet even hours away in the city! I’d drive hours to get him help but haven’t been able to find one taking new patients. (We’re in a new state and have been trying for over a year to get a vet)
I LOVE your hutch my hope is to find one like it one day.

Good vibes sent for your fur baby and I'm sorry to hear your Grandmother passed.
Your pitcher has an "ice catching spout" ... I have one also and it's the only one I've ever seen in the wild. It's my understanding these were typically used in hotel restaurants back in the day. The small bowls that you refer to as custard cups were more likely for a cup of soup in a restaurant (versus a bowl of soup).

I love your ironstone peices. My Great Great Grandfather, Samuel Bevington was a Potter in Hanley, Stoke on Trent and one of my prized possesions is an ironstone meat platter that he made in business with his son, John Bevingon.

God bless you in the loss of your grandmother. No matter how prepared you are or sure you are that they are in heaven free from pain, it always hurts to lose those you love. I know from your videos how you love your pets so I pray your dog will soon be well. I also love the scalloped edging on that last bowl. Now you need a collection of that particular ironstone too.
