  • Welcome to Jamaica Drone Shots! In this video, we take you on an aerial tour of the proposed site for Richmond Estate's exciting new development in Cousins Cove, Hanover. Known for their world-class housing communities, including the prestigious Richmond Estate in St. Ann, the Issa-led team is bringing their expertise to western Jamaica. This new project is set to transform Cousins Cove with modern two-bedroom apartments, a pool, and a clubhouse, offering residents stunning views of both the mountains and the Caribbean Sea.
    During this video, we:
Show the driving route from Lucea to the proposed site.
Highlight Richmond's legacy and environmental values.
Provide breathtaking aerial views of the heavily forested terrain where the development is planned.
For more insight into this project, check out the Negril Times RUclips channel, which first brought commentary from the community town hall meeting held by the Richmond team. Jamaica Drone Shots has also confirmed with the Richmond that this development is indeed in the pipeline.

A very welcome project but the government needs to step up and provide the infrastructure needs Hanover residents have issues with and have been asking for solutions for some time now. The parish is having serious problems with water scarcity and broadband internet. Also, the Lucea bypass highway is a project too long not done and the traffic to get through the town is terrible during rush hour, and if any rainfall blocks the Riley Bridge at the Eastern end of the town, at a place named the "Keep Left" pure grief.
The small public beach at Bull's Bay close by is one of the best in Hanover.

You're spot on. Hanover is generally one of those "left behind parishes" and probably one of the parishes with the most potential. Our local leadership and representation, I don't think has been the best at all. When you look at strides the town of Falmouth has made in the past two decades, one has to wonder how Lucea literally has remained the same.

@ and surprisingly enough, Hanover has a large majority of the upscale tourism hotels and many very upscale living communities too. Yet one would never realize it the way the parish is marketed. Everything on the East is marketed/promoted as Montego Bay, St James, and everything on the West is marketed/promoted as Negril, Westmoreland.

@ Also on the question of Lucea, some of it can be dropped in the lap of a few generations of ineffective parish council members on both sides of the aisle. Having done a lot of work in the town with groups who have tried, the town suffers from weak leadership and red tape. However too often for some reason many towns in Jamaica never seem to be able to accomplish anything until Kingston gets involved in some way.

@@GaryTallawahWoode Yup! We could go on and on....Dolphin Cove Montego Bay, The Tryall Club, Montego Bay...et etc etc... Not to mention the largest hotels in Negril being in the parish of Hanover- Riu Palace, Riu Club, Sandals, Royalton, Hedonism, Couples + more ..
