I would have done two years but the cop lied about the amount on his initial report so the judge decided my second year could be house arrest. I smoke because I literally can’t handle stressful situations sometimes without having an anxiety attack but at the time laws were more strict on weed. I don’t get how they get off of what should be life sentences.

They should have been charged with manslaughter, not murder! Life in prison was a miscarriage of justice. The law allows for lesser charges than 1st degree murder exactly for this reason. Long term abuse DOES matter!!! You will receive the same measure of judgment as you give others. Show no mercy and you will receive no mercy.
