I have not read this book,but I do hear about it from time to time. However I can feel the story being told through this music,the rain and somber dystopian era,and it makes you think of today's societal constructs and social media along with it. Now social media wasn't even thought of when this book was written,but I can say that whatever Orwell was thinking...he was pretty damn close,if not on point in some way.

Anybody interested in a similar piece to 1984? BBC's THE CAPTURE is the most-1984 piece of media (much less a tv series) I've ever seen that is not dystopic yet. Season 1 was EYE-OPENING but Season 2 was BREATHTAKING and TERRIFYING. One of the most suspenseful pieces of moving pictures ever.
