I just can't pull chamber down over those rings man---they want to expand out and thus restrict---you made it look easy but it is not and you also did not use any gasket sealant on your base gasket?
I reached past and held them in on the transfer slots at the base. It can be harder if your cylinders were bored and the chamfer has been cut away. I did not because rotax originally did not and it was not in the manual. But honestly it's probably a personal choice thing. But I have not seen any leaking on this engine.
I know this was a while ago, but what oil is in the red can? 2 stroke oil?
I checked part 1, 2 stroke oil..
@coop802 yeah that one is two stroke oil.
Do you pressure test when finished?
Yes i do, just use a small handheld low pressure pump.
