Thank you !!! This was super helpful and interesting, and also easy to understand (especially for someone like myself who hasn’t got such a great knowledge of cameras/photography). Keep up the great content!
You forgot to mention that the interesting lock is a remote control for taking 1sec or 3 sec timer for selfies as it is now known or group photos you want to be in, the remote also takes a small flat battery. When I first picked mine up I could see it should have a remote as it has a sensor on left hand side under the lens, a dead giveaway. Many who sell this do not realise it has a remote attached. This camera was aimed at people who want to take photos of friends and family, hence the flash settings.
Although I think its a circuitous route the no fuss ease of camera phone technology is bringing the film point and shoot back into fashion ... now the hipsters have bought the Leica's and Hasselblad's at exorbitant prices. Give it five years when the hipsters all have kids I'm looking forwards to some cheap Leica's on auction sites :-)
Hi! Thank you :). I just got this camera and I'm completely new with analog cameras. I was wondering what kind of film is needed for the camera. I don't fully understand the difference between the iso200 35mm and the iso400 35mm. Is there a preference? Thank you in advance
Hi The iso is how quickly the film responses to light. The faster the film the more grain you get in the image. A fast film eill allow a faster shutter speed, however quality will suffer. Hope that makes a bit of sense, I am hoping to make a video on the subject. Thanks for watching Andy
thanks for this! do you know what the little thing on the bottom left of the lense is? the lid came off of my camera and i cannot get it back on.. is it bad?
It might be the lid of the remote control (that I forgot to mention in the video) if it has gone missing the camera will still work. Thanks for watching!
If it is a red plastic cap, I believe it is the cap to cover the sensor for the remote control. You can push it on and give it a twist left or right (sorry cannot remember which way) and it should stay fixed. It is best to cover the sensor as the lid protects it from dust and dirt. The remote control is on the base of camera.

I got this cam for around 19$ in my country. Other sellers here sell it for 60 bucks.
Check out the remote :)
