I know these are actually major changes to the team which should improve trackside performance and address issues with mid-season upgrades, it's just crazy that Lance is still there with the past few seasons he's had.
It's the double-edged sword of Lawrence owning the team. If Lance wasn't there, daddy Stroll probably wouldn't be throwing this much money at the team.
Their trackside performance has been awful too: 1. Pit stops: Beyond having many 4+ second stops, they’re one of the few teams I don’t remember once seeing have a sub 3-second stop the entire season and I pay close attention to all of their pit stops. 2. Quali timing: Alonso literally took over determining his own timing after Silverstone where he was yet again put out so late he failed to get a Q3 run in at all. The 19-5 quali result actually hides the fact that 3 of those Stroll “wins” were due AM putting FA out too late to put a time on the board while LS had gotten plenty of margin. Then add cases when they put him out in such bad traffic or so late that he was severely compromised by wake or using battery just to make the line and it’s 5 times by the summer break they made a huge quali timing error. 3. They were generally pretty solid on strategy. They made a few blunders, but fewer than most of their competitors.

Mercs V10s were awful. Not as powerful as the BMWs or Ferrari, and massively unreliable. And for most of the V8 era, Renault was the best with its off throttle exhaust gas. And even the V6s, they were only good because Merc spent twice as much and 3 times as long on them. Well at least Lance's no.1 fan can more focus on him with his new role Jokes aside, this all started when they replaced Andrew Green with Dan Fallows, Green was part of the old management from the Force India days and designed a pretty good car in 23 giving AM podiums, then during that success he got replaced with Fallows who only made the car worse through the season and made a pretty mediocre car in 24 and couldn't even fix that, he got exposed for being a dunce instead of the Newey protege they sang lyrics about and they went for the master and brushed aside the pretender, but I'd argue if they had kept Green who was part of that initial plan of transforming the punching above team to a proper championship team and had him develop his car in 23, they'd be in a better place than where they are now
Lots of folk rightly calling out the nepotism of Lance Stroll. But these ones are entirely missing the point. The team is being failed by the team structure. Too many cooks, too many competing egos. That cannot work....

I think there’s too much going on at Aston which is destabilising the team plus Newey works best when he has full control which is something I don’t believe he will have, their biggest problem is Lance and I have no doubt that daddy’s boy getting the royal treatment when he should be replaced is their biggest destabilising issue
Never mind all the off track changes they keep making, no one is going to take Aston seriously until papa Stroll bins Lance. He’s clearly not good enough at this level. If they’ve serious ambitions of winning championships, they won’t be doing it with this current driver lineup.
Nepotism wouldn't be an issue if the driver earned their strips but you one driver isn't performing, like everyone we cant take aston seriously from a constructors point and drivers championship. Reality is Fernando will spear head the championship for drivvers my question is will their be interference if he does spearhead it
Nepotism is a problem, full stop. Quit trying to make exceptions for your faves. Aston Martin's team and car problems are bigger than their driver issue. If Alonso is languishing in the midfield a few drivers above Stroll, who is himself above better drivers like Bottas, Ocon, Albon and Magnussen, then that should be enough evidence that there is far more to work on than worry about than driver replacement which can be done in a heartbeat.
Alonso doesn’t have what it takes to win a championship. He can’t even get a pole or a win. You put Max Verstappen in that understeery shitbox designed for Alonso’s driving style and he will look like Sergeant.

Jokes aside, this all started when they replaced Andrew Green with Dan Fallows, Green was part of the old management from the Force India days and designed a pretty good car in 23 giving AM podiums, then during that success he got replaced with Fallows who only made the car worse through the season and made a pretty mediocre car in 24 and couldn't even fix that, he got exposed for being a dunce instead of the Newey protege they sang lyrics about and they went for the master and brushed aside the pretender, but I'd argue if they had kept Green who was part of that initial plan of transforming the punching above team to a proper championship team and had him develop his car in 23, they'd be in a better place than where they are now
If that "organizational restructuring" doesn't move Lance to the bin, it won't help. Taking his feedback for car development will only hurt them.
The saying “Too many cooks spoil the broth” is relatable at Aston Martin
It looks like they are in different parts of the same room.
Glazed lance so hard and still got the boot
It will be interesting to see what this brings to Aston Martin racing performance
With Lance Stroll, literally nothing
Lots of folk rightly calling out the nepotism of Lance Stroll. But these ones are entirely missing the point.
The team is being failed by the team structure.
Too many cooks, too many competing egos.
That cannot work....
Such a stacked team it's insane
So obvious to everyone Aston’s main deficiency
You guys sat next to each other.....almost got the same shelving lol
Never fussed on Krack. He was a bit of Stroll Puppet.
I hope Cowell is more open and honest with regards to the performance of their drivers, particularly the Canadian one.. !
do the same with Mercedes restructure video too
There he is; Ben Anderson, the guy who thinks Mercedes has two notches better driver line up than Red Bull. Let's have a post-season chat Ben Anderson....see you December 2025.
Good driver line-ups can produce bad race results. Bad driver line-ups can produce terrific race results. The relationship is not straightforward as you seemingly think.
Mercedes /Ben Anderson fanboy eh? Join us december 2025! Drinks on me.
No matter what kind of change they make, the team is still centered around someone who might not even want to be there.
got a feeling that aston will be surprising competitive for 2025. score some podiums here and there
And you all thought Veruca Salt was being carried off by the F1 Oompa Loompas...
Make every possible change except the one blindingly obvious one that matters
AMR is like PSG, by bringing in the best of F1 does not necessarily mean instant success.
Figured because Lance Sadie : daddeh daddeh, I want to play manager now.
AM still trying to change everything but their biggest problem, let's see how long it takes until they'll finally get rid of that and hire a second driver.
Majestic stash.
The matching shelves makes me think that y'all are secretly roommates...
Lawrence Stroll, 7th time dad of year world champion
bro who names their son Mike Krack, thats only second to Hugh Krack
Fire lance
They should bring Seb back when Alonso retires and consider replacing Stroll.
The chances of both things happening would be low.
Shuffle the board all they want, but they'll never be a serious team keeping Lance in a seat.
Everything changes except the major problem driver 2 Lance
I think mike has been punished for suggesting that lance needs replacing
Mike Crack's move is giving me Mike Elliott vibes, I can see him tendering his resignation sometime during the year.
There are two Strolls that need to be demoted first.
@@pao_2031 what are you talking about
All these changes.. and they still have Stroll driving..
