1:17:30 Alternatively, if anyone asks you what a Ponzi scheme is, look at them very seriously and tell them it's a scheme that involves both Potsie and Fonzie.
This is one of the most magical gaming experiences I have ever had. A truly deep, riveting and utterly original RPG in a fascinating and evocative world.
Tinkering, cooking & swimming are excellent utility skills: tinkering auto-IDs artefacts for you, & you can shortly make useful (or at least more saleable) stuff at even low lvls. Night vision, just like in CDDA, makes things a /lot/ easier! Wandering around with stun rods equipped won't do anything significant until you find some energy cells to charge them with! :)
I sort of agree that $15-20 is the classic price for a "quality indie game" and you pretty much never see roguelikes at $30 (battle brothers is the only one I can think of, and it is of a similar caliber). I think it's still a reasonable price given the quality and amount of content, devs put so much effort in and ended up with one of the richest game worlds + mechanics of any rpg I can think of. $30 is basically them asserting 'This is one of the very best.' Also the fact that so many people already bought it cheaper during early access/will probably get it for $20 eventually on sale.
It's a awesome game, I have several hundred hours played and can highly recommend it. It's a very sandboxy game that lets you do all kinds of stupid things while also having stupid things happen to you. Sseth made a video on it a few years ago but it has vastly improved since then; ruclips.net/video/o_PBfLbd3zw/видео.html Would be nice if they had some form of demo though so people could try it out before they buy.
Great video. That typed, from the things I wish I didn't know library, it's unfortunate about the behavior of at least one of the devs (and the weaponization of their fans) and - on more concrete footing - the lack of support for those who bought the game on GOG (like me). Sometimes it's challenging to remove the art from the artist (in this medium).
Just a tip - you can hold down alt to see friend and foe marked on screen all at once
Stunning game, i had 400 hours prior to release and could easily see myself adding 400 more.

If your face is on fire, why would you need a torch ?
that needs to be printed on a t-shirt
You ask the important questions
gotta have a tight carapace

Qud is so good. Been probably 10yrs since I played it last though. I will definitely be giving 1.0 a shot, looks like a far bit has changed.
I only have just over 9 hours in Caves of Qud, but it feels magnificent to play and I hope to play it for many, many more hours.

Cooking is good even with Photosynthesis. You get starch and lignin to cook with.
I am old enough to remember when games didn't have voice acting. 8088
yay
Looks like a fun game, but not for the price they are asking for it...
you had years to get in at the old price point, and there was still plenty of content. still worth the new price, for the record. your loss.

Aside: Reminds me of the DLC situation for RimWorld (which I own)...
I have 260 hours and I think is pretty much worthy the price
Can’t say the sane for Cogmind though
Can't recommend this game after they disrespected my boi Sseth. The devs are complete tools.

It's always funny when right wingers get outraged at simply being told they're not welcome in polite society lmao.
