The 2022 World Cup games in Qatar may face political and geopolitical challenges and may "not start" or be "halfway postponed to next year".
Factors such as:
• Suspension of the membership of the Russian National Soccer team by FIFA
• Geo-political tensions in the Persian Gulf
• Escalation & Intensification of the war in Ukraine by Russia in the coming days and weeks
• And instability in the world order
One or All of these factors may prevent the start of the games in Qatar or would cause the games to remain half-finished and/ or to be postponed to next summer in Europe or South America.
In the coming weeks, Vladimir Putin will surprise the entire World by retaliating against "the suspension of the Russian National Soccer team" by FIFA and by "escalating the war in Ukraine", and "marginalizing the 2022 Soccer World Cup" and "focusing on the world's attention on the war in Ukraine", and to create a "negative effect" on the 2022 World Cup.
