Great snapper mate. I do a lot of soft baiting for snapper over here in NZ. I’ve never seen or heard of snapper here with those huge bump on their heads.
Thanks for watching mate. He was an epic red, (for our standards anyway, you kiwis would probably use it for bait lol). The big old males here in Oz can get huge bumps on the head and top jaw.
Beauty, mate. Got any measurement data? you boys don't mind a bit of a chop, that was getting up there...I've enjoyed the softbaiting series with some excellent technique tips.
Thanks mate - conditions were definitely average. We were in 20-25m and would usually be using 1/4 jig heads but due to the wind (even with the drogue out) we had to use 1/2 and 3/8 size heads to stay near the bottom.
@@robtaylorshotwater yeah. He just put a new 140 Suzuki with fly by wire on it a month back Zip wakes Remade the console from scratch Next will be the kraken.
Absolute Gold! Print and frame that Horse mate! Well done! 🤙🎣🐟

Too good mate. I think I’m converted. A whole episode without putting a Halco in the water lol.
