On Saturday the 27th of September 2014, engines from across the country gathered at Old Warden Park near Biggleswade, to participate in a road run to celebrate 60 years of National Traction Engine Trust.
Hosted by the Bedford Steam Engine Preservation Society, the road run followed 3 routes: 19, 28 & 50 miles, with the majority of the engines taking the 28 mile option.
This 2 hour production captures the event, right from the first engines raising steam, to travelling on the Bedfordshire roads, and to the last engine back site.

Great - really loved it - I have a Fowler Steam Roller on my Model Railway layout - they are just majestic, a piece of history - Elizabeth
Beautiful machines! It's a pity we have nothing like that in California. Thanks for sharing!
Old is Gold
Schönes Video !! Nice steam engine sound´s !
Can't wait to get my Wallis and steevens advance on the road
Old beauties for sure.
Congrats, you are enviable ones. I feel glad for you that you are allowed to do so.
Perhaps you can't understand it, as I'm German I can't imagine to go on public pavement with a steam roller or a steam tractor without having them fitted with air brakes, H 7 or H God knows headlights and most important a "EC certificated" hitch.
You know, the chairborne divisions are now mastering the whole of Germany
I think, the UK does good not to stand to close to Europe.
Carl Napp Yes. We know. I think the EU was a terrible idea. However, Germany is a lot more steam-friendly on their mainline railways than we are.
Got some great shots there Dan, good job!
0:06 "I need to flatten little engines in the scrapyard!"

Blimey! The Fowler Tiger Tractor at 5.05 - who is driving it? Sebastian Vettell?
Some great shots of engines! What coal were they using?
