Wow this feels good, not even 2 years ago I almost didn't know a single word of korean, and I definitely couldn't even understand the "absolute beginner listening practice" videos :) Then i just clicked on this video randomly to see how much i had improved over the past months, and I'm so happy to say I almost understand everything! This feels so good to see how much you can do in only 2 years, so keep practising guys, and don't give up, if I can do it then you absolutely can too haha
I’m Korean but I just started learning korean about a month ago and I already understand the whole Hangul alphabet and Most words- I’m jealous but really I just need to practice 8 hours instead of 6-
These are meant for intermediate learners, after 7 month you may still be at a beginner's level depending on how much time and effort you have put in of course. Also remember listening (as well as speaking) is a skill, and knowing a language (vocab, grammar, etc) is knowledge. These skills must be developed alongside studying. When taught in a classroom setting, everything is taught together, however if you are self taught, you must make sure your developing your skills and knowledge at the same pace. Of course this comment was from 7 months ago, is it better now? Your ability to understand this video? This comment will hopefully also be read by the many who feel the same way as you.
I studied korean for 3 years at university... I'm intermediate but always struggle with listening. But I understood almost everything here ! I'm so happy to see I'm not THAT bad
These kinds of lessons are really more helpful for me than all the podcasts teaching idioms that aren't that useful or the PDFs that are hard to look at on mobile. Why don't you make more of these?
I'm quite sure there's a mistake at 34:40 there's written 남자가 여자와 but the audio says 여자의. First time i heard it i was super confused why would the man talk about the woman's wallet haha. Anyway it was quite fun to do, I had only 4 wrong so 16/20 should be still quite decent score. 2 of them i got wrong because i didn't know the vocabulary used(which i've written down now to remember it) and the other 2 were just because i didn't pay enough attention and overheard some details(long sleeves at dress and vending machine at the gym). Anyway great video and i'm quite surprised how much i was able to understand even though i'm learning korean only myself as a hobby from resources online ^^
I knew I've heard that voice before, it was jaehwi all along😂😂, I realized that when I almost finished the video, that distracted me the whole time😂. Thank you so much 😍👏👏
I'm literally so bad at writing korean, because the ah yah and yo and yoo because there are so many different kinds, but I can always read and it's hilarious reading korean comments
too bad. I really want to subscribe, but the offer says I can get $14.95 or so with the first month discount. But whenever I tried to pay, it wants to charge me for two years worth at $549 or something like that. No place to ask for help. I was really interested in this program.
all the sentences are cut at the start and its difficult to understand. for example, during question 2, the person asks for how many people was the guy reserving the room and in the next sentence you can only hear "____people", would be nice to fix that
@@Coquette_penguin i'd say it improved but not that much bc i was being lazy and inconsistent in learning lmao but i can understand some sentences n expanded my vocab !! i can also read and speak easily
It's not hard... I get them correct mostly but YOU'LL FEEL LIKE YOU'VE NEVER LEARNT KOREAN WHEN YOU'RE TRYING TO UNDERSTAND NATIVE SPEAKERS SPEAKING IN REAL LIFE 😭
Same feeling here. I am doing EWHA Korean with a tutor to get to know the colloquial language - mostly grammar - and then I am doing self studying through kdramas and videos to master a completely different language that is spoken in Korea. Banmal :) Fighting on two different levels!

Seocho MIN 네! 720점 받았어요 ~

how do you write "medium" in Korean? As in the size for clothing, medium T-shirt
At 3:53 "몇 분이 머무실 건가요" isn't it supposed to mean how long are you staying for? Not how many people?
No, it means how many people
분 can mean minute, yes, but it can also be a formal way of referring to a person.
diane nguyen no it’s “몇 분이 머무르실 건가요”

"이거나 읽어봐라 이거 읽으면 한국어 마스터다"
cries im so bad at this
Way easier with text
한국어 연습이나 해야겠다
Are you sure this is intermediate? I think this is somewhere between beginner and intermediate, but more close to beginner. It maybe A2 or something
but when you compare it to typical conversational korean, it's intermediate in the words that are used.
all the sentences are cut at the start and its difficult to understand. for example, during question 2, the person asks for how many people was the guy reserving the room and in the next sentence you can only hear "____people", would be nice to fix that
damn i understand this and i don't study korean lmao i just picked up some from dramas

@@Coquette_penguin i'd say it improved but not that much bc i was being lazy and inconsistent in learning lmao but i can understand some sentences n expanded my vocab !! i can also read and speak easily
Korean letters look like someone took a bunch of stick men and chopped them up into bits.
이거 한국 사람 말투 맞아요? 이상해요 ㅠㅠ
