I really love the look and design of this game. The campaign was also interesting, the voices were stellar and the gameplay felt crisp. However, this game is to blame for the introduction of loot boxes in CoD, so it will never be forgiven lol
modern warfare 2's ending is in a heli that goes over to modern warfare 3's beginning. so you basically have 2 cod games that has a heli that you are in that doesn't crash.
This made me realize no video game has TOUCHED the Korean War and it is very unique due to the mountain terrain. It’d be a good game if done correctly.
it was also the intro period for new vehicles like jets, helicopters, and other things, so score streaks would still be able to stay good. Gameplay would be pretty interesting as well with introductions of the Chinese and soviet armies. And overall with stories like temper temper or that on Hellenic army battalion of 11 men it would be very interesting to see a Korean War cod, which I thought vanguard was going to be about but ig not.
I think Activision and it’s developers possibly don’t want to make COD game set during Korean War because they probably don’t want to offend the Chinese if they’re getting depicted as villains. Sounds like that Red Dawn movie remake.
This game is actually quite realistic if you think about it. The Exo-Suits and the tech shown in this game are already in prototype form, with Marines and Army Engineer Corps considering it for mass use. The political climate we are in could leave to this too (exclude the KVA thing and every other mission).

You know, I thought of it because Halo 3: ODST is parallel to Halo 2. And Halo 2 has this mission where you have to kill the prophet of regret...
This game takes place in the year 2054 which means these Mariners are using gear from 2044 and you actually saw soldiers too but you didn’t notice because of invisible cloak.
At first, i hated how simple it looked, but i grew up liking it. Probably hated it because i was used to complex huds with maps *cough* battlefield huds *cough*
It's was a true next gen game after a very half-assed Ghosts. But the over reliance on repackaging and stealing ideas from other games was very apparent in this, the multiplayer was pretty bad, it had a goofy space jump system but not a fleshed out movement system, and fucking LOOT BOXES.
Guess DMZ was swept clean. We will never know how the Second Korean War started in this game. It also reminded me of DMZ Strike in a 1997 game called "Nuclear Strike". Unlike the AW, the reason was shown. The Second Korean War in "Nuclear Strike" game was caused by the destruction of Pyongyang at the hands of LeMonde.
I played the hell out of that map, I loved using the A-10 and watching the MLRS do their shit. Getting your hero infantry crushed by collision errors in the final mission was traumatic though.

Where this game lacked in multiplayer and zombies it did pretty well with the campaign in terms of story and beautiful visuals. Nothing compared to the old Modern Warfare trilogy and World at War,Black Ops 1 and 2.
The North Koreans most likely bought their weapons tech instead of developing it themselves. In the Advanced Warfare universe, Atlas is the world's largest and leading arms manufacturer, they most likely sell to any and all sides.
They roll around in GAZ Tigrs, which would be around 50 years old around the game's time setting, so they kinda do have some old equipment. (GAZ Tigr entered service with Russia in 2006)
My two cents on this is gonna be that it’s like Crysis. In that game, the Norkies went fascist and became some what of a regional power. So we could say that in cod aw, it’s a fascist dictatorship with backing from Moscow and Beijing

I love these cool aerial drop scenes in video games where your drop pod smashes through layers of buildings...Killzone 2 had one, Quake 4, and now it looks like Doom Eternal has levels you begin by smashing through the roof in a metal container as well.

Nuclear Strike was a fantastic game, and that DMZ mission was amazing.

Where this game lacked in multiplayer and zombies it did pretty well with the campaign in terms of story and beautiful visuals. Nothing compared to the old Modern Warfare trilogy and World at War,Black Ops 1 and 2.
I don't know North Koreans' technology so advanced. They should have outdated 80s or 2000s technology and wield obsolete weapons like AKs.

The North Koreans most likely bought their weapons tech instead of developing it themselves. In the Advanced Warfare universe, Atlas is the world's largest and leading arms manufacturer, they most likely sell to any and all sides.
They roll around in GAZ Tigrs, which would be around 50 years old around the game's time setting, so they kinda do have some old equipment. (GAZ Tigr entered service with Russia in 2006)
My two cents on this is gonna be that it’s like Crysis. In that game, the Norkies went fascist and became some what of a regional power. So we could say that in cod aw, it’s a fascist dictatorship with backing from Moscow and Beijing

Despite Jackson being a minor character I really liked him. I'm glad he survived this battle but I wish he returned later in the game.

there was no reason to hate this game,it wasnt like previous games but it was a great experience
we used to think this was really far off from modern warfare but the more I think about it the closer it seems to reality nowadays...just look at how the time flies...

I love these cool aerial drop scenes in video games where your drop pod smashes through layers of buildings...Killzone 2 had one, Quake 4, and now it looks like Doom Eternal has levels you begin by smashing through the roof in a metal container as well.
Damn I miss this game. I had really fun playing the game on my ps3. But I only got to like prestige 2. I really wish they would make a advanced warfare 2 one day. And a ghosts 2. Both games left us in a cliffhanger
