My son has the same disorder, I'm really hoping it gets better for you and him, my son sometimes has low self esteem with people he doesn't know but warns up as time goes by. How are the school helping him? Does he take speech and language lessons? Is there like a special school you can take him to where most of the other kids are like him? I'm also thinking about that, I was hesitant at first but I've done some research and those schools really help to improve the childs speech they're learning in completely adapted to them.
