- Opening day has arrived and excitement is super high. We'll track our journey to the first ever public rope drop at Galaxys Edge, starting with getting our wristbands, and our greeting from fans at Launch Bay. Then we'll see perhaps the greatest rope drop I can ever remember as walk through the tunnel and in to Galaxys Edge.

LOVE!! I loved seeing Liz's reaction. Like her, I'm a Star Was fan by marriage, and seeing GE was amazing! I'm bummed we didn't get a chance to run into you guys. We had the 2:00 o'clock time, but we hung out by the exits around 12:00 hoping to see you. We did, however, get to see and take a picture with Justin, Ally and Adam. That was fun. FRESH BAKED!! NSA!

I really like that Josh and Scott were out there mingling with the people, shaking hands and observing how everyone was experiencing the land. That's a nice touch. I hope that at some point down the road, maybe in 1-2 years, they will offer a tour of Galaxy's Edge led by any of the Imagineers who worked on it -- similar to the wonderful (and FREE!) "Walk with an Imagineer" tour of Buena Vista Street that took place over a few days in December 2013.
Amazing! I've seen all your content for SW:GE and I've loved every second! I wish I could have gone! I was there for grad nite as a chaperone on opening day but wasn't able to get a reservation. 😢

I'm not sure what makes me happier, seeing David and Ian enjoying this day, or the fact that Star Wars land is finally completed haha. I am excited for something new at the Park, I am still on the fence if I like Star Wars land being there because Star Wars is so big and popular that it can literally be a park in itself, somewhere else. When David said "Hi To Jenny" Did he mean Jenny Nicholson? The Disneyland Boss seems like a very down to earth guy. Very nice of him to walk around and talk with everyone, that is a very good sign of a Great Manager:) For now, lets see how it pans out...Hope to begin filming myself soon. I am getting closer to making my dream happen. Thank You Guys for all you do.

Laura Wade I’m sorry for responding to your comment this late Laura but I got a red elemental & nature lightsaber also the experience of going to a different planet blew my mind. I can’t wait to go many more times after the reservation window closes.
Im sorry to correct you David but being a graphic designer and background on printing i have an itch to correct you on the embossing comment, those maps are not embossed.
The new maps actually have a raised spot UV coating as well as a sand UV application at a a lower level.
the sand coating gives it the grainy feel and the raised UV gives it the glossy thick look as accent.
embossing is a completely different look and procedure. :-)

It was, yes. He and Jenny will feature a bit in an upcoming episode. I love Jenny, but had never known of Steve before. He's hilarious though. We were in line together the full two hours while waiting for our turn in Savis workshop.
How long are they going to require reservations?
I wonder if Josh D’Amaro knew who you guys were. It's certainly possible. They have got to love all the free advertising you've been giving them over the years.

@Laura Wade I have had anxiety befor and was on medication And it's probably the worst feeling in the world besides all the depression I've been through. I wasn't trying to offend anyone or be clever it literally looked like a situation that would give me anxiety and I'm just the kind of person that jokes about things like that I've gone through because it makes me feel better more light hearted about the situation I guess . I'm really sorry if I offend you.

I like Star Wars a lot, but I think galaxy’s edge is over hyped after seeing all these RUclips videos about it. ROTR will be the game changer and the better ride of the two.
