I have a 22 street bob and swapped out the factory slip-ons for S&S slash cuts. Because it is not uncommon for me to leave the house between 4-5am, I left the baffles in. Even with the baffles, the bike sounds a lot better.
Agreed, Cobras sound way better. I've got a '21 Street Bob, and after about eight months, finally ditched the stock pipes for a Cobra two-into-one El Diablo and love it. They make great products and their prices are reasonable. More owners should give them a hard look. The other thing that sold me on Cobra is that they're not prone to discoloration like a lot of other brands.
I have an Akrapovic slip-on because it's lighter, nicer and of course has a better sound. But when in a crowded area, I keep the revs low because precisely, I don't want the neighbors to hate bikers. "Neighbor hater".. You guys are nuts. :D
Always ready for a little exhaust comparison, especially since my cousin is presently recovering from the proverbial calf exhaust burn after sitting on a “real bike” for the first time, posing for a picture to send expressly for me. Had to laugh, though she did give herself a good old second degree. Thanks, Angie, sorry for the guffaw (done it myself many years ago), and hope it heals soon! Meanwhile, consider yourself on the first step of initialization. Lol!
@@trippontwowheels just wanted to make sure, someone mentioned on a review on jp cycle that the stock muffler inserts will break if used and they need to be purchased separately
lol the stock don't even sound as good as this video seems to record it. Trust me guys the stock mufflers have no sound. A lawnmower is louder. However I installed the neighbor haters Saturday. WOW!! The bike it's like a lion waking up. This video also does not give us a good sound bite. It's SO much louder and better.
“Trust me bros! I’m the only one that’s ever heard a stock exhaust so my opinion is the only one that matters!” lol sure thing man. these cheapos sound like trash. You’re better off gutting your stocks or paying a bit more for another brand. Hell harleys screaming chicken ones sound better than these and are only a few bucks more. Or just go V&H or Rineharts. To each their own but no way i can justify spending money on these as any kind of improvement over stock. Trust me bro.
I like the original intro. Plain, simple and short.
Thanks!

Glad you’re happy with things. The Milwaukee Eight Street Bob is one of the most fun to ride bikes I’ve ever taken for a spin. 107 or 114?
GREAT improvement for sure ...

Which do u think are louder? Which do u think sound better ?
Easy installation?
Great video Tripp. Can't beat the Harley sound. Especially with aftermarket pipes!
Cobras sound fantastic Tripp!
Does this slip on exhaust eliminate the catalytic converter or is it in the pipe before the muffler?
Cats stay in place. Just give us the ability to have more sound in commy states that love to ticket you for having a soul
@@michael3424 I believe the cat is in the muffler on this model... so the slip on eliminates it if it doesn't have one of its own.

Give me the stock pipes any day, I have 2 sets of baffles in my Samson true duals, damn noisy things.
Does it come with everything needed for installation?
Yes. Any good muffler or exhaust system should.

@@MrStarguy I’d call customer service at JP Cycle then to make sure. They’re pretty helpful.
Loud pipes saves lives
crap they do....
Loud pipes annoy the crap out of everyone and make up for riding deficiencies.
Not that old chestnut again! There is no evidence (that I am aware of) that loud pipes save lives.
Damn right !!!
Both sound pretty tame to me
Thank you, Sir! That was so very interesting as all your videos are. God bless all your rides and that beautiful land named Texas!
Wow nice video
Thanks Noor!
Is a tune required for these
No tune is required for just slip ons.
No, not for slip-ons only.
yep sound heaps better
Nothing today is worth the sounds of yesterday Shovel head with drag pipes music to my Ears 🇺🇸
I’ll take that bike!! Stock still sounds like a sewing machine, slip ons do sound better. Thanks for sharing!!
Try listening to a Honda ST1300 😆
The Cobras sound 100 times better.
Neighbor haters has it!
Hey Larry! Nice to see you.
@@trippontwowheels Speed on brother. Hell is half full!
@@larrys.3992 And I plan on keepin it that way. 🙂

👍 for the haters!
Stock, easier to live with and better for your neighbours!
