I have one question u say only download the two packs multiplayer and multiplayer/spec ops… I got two that just say multiplayer for some reason it’s not on your screen tho at 3:04
@@jacobberry5199 depending on how you got modern warfare depends on what you see, if you have disk it should be a bit like mine, if you’re digital you will see more multiplayer packs make sure all multiplayer packs are downloaded

Unreal how customers are left to scramble on RUclips and the internet to find a fix for this yet Activision themselves won’t even comment on it, absolute disgrace. I’m lucky enough to average 100mbps but for those less fortunate this can make the game totally unplayable. For a company driven on profit it is sickening that people are still having these issues after almost a year with no fix and no answers
I'm sitting here 1,5 hours after I downloaded over a 100GB and still can't get into the campaign. After a lot of googling I hope after another like 30 GB that I download right now I finally will be able to play but I doubt that. Last time I bought an Activision title. If a paying customer has to Google how to even get into the game something is very wrong. What a joke

You are a life SAVIOR!!! I spent 4 whole days trying to fix this and watching other videos and this was the only fix. You the goat.
For anyone having this same issue, follow step by step. It really does work. If you download 1 extra pack it wont work. Just download the 2 in the video and then go back and download your texture packs if supported by your system!

@@lokiimamba exactly right bro, everytime i downloaded everything first with the game or before entering the game. it was like it would download duplicates and wouldn’t work ever since i did this i haven’t had that problem anymore 😊

Thank you brother, nothing worked for me so had to delete and re-install but now it’s working fine. I’d suggest anyone that ends up doing that take photos of all your settings in cod before you delete because they all get reset. Gained a sub ma dude

thank you so so much bro! i thought if i could fix it, maybe it could help a few people out but i’m shocked as to how much people are having the same issue and how much people i have actually fixed the issue for.
Another way I saw in a different video is that if you have bought the game on a different account all the other multiplayer packs for no reason will be under "manage game content" on that account.
As someone who really got sick of that garbage Cold War game, and not having been able to properly find a way to re-download MW, it's ridiculous that Activision hasn't resolved a simpler way to adress this.
As a matter of fact, MW has 5 more years in it, idk why tf they just can't continue adding more to MW. It is by far way more of a better multiplayer experience than ColdWar will ever be.
Because they wanna force people to buy vanguard and Cold War they always do this shit man. I’m not spending another dollar on cod

Everytime I try and look at my manage installs it takes me to the vanguard tab which I don't want to buy or install 🤣

I've reinstalled the game 4 times already
I'm reinstalling the game for a 5th time now
The first 40 odd gbs downloaded now and it says ready to play
I checked manage game content and it shows 4 packs installed
Special ops pack
Multiplayer pack
Campaign pack 1
Campaign pack 2
But the problem is as soon as the game is fully downloaded
I'll enter the game but then the screen will go black before the loading screen comes up then it'll show dev error 5476 before eventually showing installation suspended. And if I check game installs it'll say there is no content. And the store is unavailable.
When I go back to check manage game content it'll show that the multiplayer pack is the only pack installed but that means nothing cause I can't access campaign multiplayer or coop nor can I download it at all
Anyone else who's experienced this on ps5?
Hmm that’s weird I definitely haven’t experienced that yet but with that being said I’ve had modern warfare uninstalled for a while now! I shall give it a go today and try and find a fix for y’all and make an updated video! 😊

I did everything you did since am on PS5 too. The only thing for me my situation is that I have to no matter what download all the packs don't know why. I have try to only Download multiplayer packs just like you did, with high resolution and compatibility 🙄 but in end I still had to download them all otherwise it wouldn't let me play the Game MW

Just a friendly word of advice, you should complete every task that you’re requesting of your viewers. Often times you say delete this… and you assume we know how to delete it.

Deleted the game and only installing multiplayer pack and special-ops/multiplayer compatibility worked. I stayed on the game while those two add-ons were being downloaded. Appreciate the help

Even the ps5 system is fucked up cause when I download all the packages and they are a lot after the instalation is complete in the storage information there's only 180gb of data and there's only a few packs on the list, when the game says that theone pack is missing I can't see them on the manage game content option

PleAse make an updated video this no longer works you will see when yours uninstalls. It must be the new warzone update but when you reinstall fresh now the packs say there Already installed. Not prompting you. Game is now useless so annoying

Same here man! I think that is honestly a big cause and putting your ps5 in rest mode while downloading is also a big no no. Doesn’t install anything properly and acts like it never installed.

*UPDATE*
When there is a new update in the game and the multiplayer keeps saying “install suspended” u need to delete the game and reinstall it and it should be work then! It worked for me on the Ps5 disc version!
With every update you have to repeat this step if you can't play online! it is very difficult but it helps!

@@tumman8591 yeah it worked for me, as he said when you install the packs you need to let your ps4 on modern warfare menu and download the multiplayer pack and multiplayer and special ops compability pack to work
It only shows me campaign pack multiplayer pack two special ops pack and two diffrent compatibility packs

Bro it doesn't even want to open the manage installs part, but when I check on console home screen none of the packs are there except multyplayer pack. It really is sickening considering how much I actually wanted to play the game and be treated with such bs. How is it OK that I start installing modern warfare, but install warzone instead. Stuff like this makes Ghosts seem like a GOTY.

I just tried everything and made sure I didn’t let the console automatically install the packs. I only did it through the main menu on the game. I’m gonna try make an updated tutorial soon!
After every update I have to delete and reinstall the game and the packs. Sometimes I have to do it multiple times. This needs to be fixed

In the game, the glitch tells me that it is marked installed but little did I know that the packs aren't installed. So yeah, need to wait another few hours to play it. Activision really needs to keep itself together now because even if they can just ignore the people calling them out, it will reflect negatively on them because of how unplayable it can be.
