    My toilet solution is similar to yours. It's a plastic 42.5oz Maxwell House can. The great thing about it is that doggie bags fit in it perfectly. Doggie bags are about $10 for 300 at Walmart. This saves my grocery bags for trash, and I generally shop with reusable totes since I'm not always trying to accumulate plastic bags to poop in. Urine goes into a different water tight container, separated from poop like a composting toilet. I rinse the urine bottle when I discretely dump it out in the weeds, away from where people go. It's been a good system for many months now.
    I too have been using only castile soap. I used to wash my dishes with it but now I spritz them with diluted white vinegar and wipe with a paper towel. The vinegar cuts grease.

    At the beginning, you had something shining a light toward the back of your SUV... looked like it was behind the seat facing back. It seems to have lost power. Wood pellets are light and can absorb a lot of liquid waste. If I am not showering, I use Disposable No Rinse Bathing Wipes. it only takes 1/4 cup of water, and as a bonus, you can re-used to clean hard surfaces of your car.

    • @DeezRoads
      @DeezRoads  Месяц назад +6

      I realized it was my little "night light". When it shut down it made a weird noise so that in combination with the flashing lights was a little creepy. LOL. I've heard good things about the wood pellets. I think I'll see if Tractor Supply has some and give them a try. I like the Dude Wipes, they come in super handy!

    If you use 70% Isopropyl alcohol in your Dollar Tree spray bottle, and spray around all the edges/entry-exit areas in your car, then you will prevent any bugs, rats, and mice in your car. They can't stand the smell and won't cross into your car.

    What kind of cabinet is that behind you? Where did you get it?

    • @DeezRoads
      @DeezRoads  15 дней назад

      It’s a kids kitchen from Ikea. 😁 It’s where I store my Life PO4 battery and inverter, plus non-perishables. I just cut some holes in the back of the cabinet to allow wires to run from the battery to the inverter, kind of serve as vents, too.

    Hi, first time I've never heard of using the dryer sheets for condensation. Can you please provide a bit more detail, or demo? Is that just one sheet every night, for example? How thoroughly do you have to wipe the window's surface? Do the sheets leave any residue? Anything else in the way of details is appreciated.
    Condensation on the windows is a problem that I am eager to solve, primarily because it tips off that someone (me!) is in the car, thus undermining stealth. Thank you!

    • @DeezRoads
      @DeezRoads  Месяц назад +3

      Thanks for stopping by and commenting! I just rub the dryer sheets all over the inside of the windows as if I were dusting them. I haven't noticed any weird residue. It's the wax in the dryer sheets, it helps prevent moisture absorption on the windows. Depending on how much my son puts his fingers on the glass (LOL), I can usually get away with doing it 1-2x per month. Whenever I clean the inside of the windows, I go ahead and give them a good rub down with the dryer sheets.

    I prefer using a urinal with a female attachment for urine or a Nutella or peanut butter jar... I use horse bedding pellets for the toilet incase things are not solid or there is a little urine that leaks out, older woman here. A sock with cat litter or silicone pellets on the dash at night can take care of condensation. Bidets are wonderful... TP is really barbaric. Beautiful rig and great tips.

      I’ve used pine pellets for pee in a bucket lined with Costco kitchen. We typically camp for 4-7 days so use 2-3 bags…urine only for nighttime/typically 1 person.

      @anitzsimmons3599 Hi, Condensation is one problem I have been unable to solve. Would like to know more about your method. What type (or brand) of cat liter are you using? How much? Are you using it for one night then disposing it? What about the silicone pellets -- type and/or brand? Thank you.

      Thanks so much for stopping by and commenting! I tried using the female attachment but it kept overflowing :-( Luckily I tried in the shower first...LOL. @@Gwen3344 I just got the cheapest clay type kitty litter and filled an old cotton tube sock most of the way up then tied it shut with an overhand knot. It worked for years until I cut it open last winter to get un stuck on an icy spot in a parking lot. When I noticed the condensation was starting to build again, all I did was set the sock out in the sun on a warm dry day or set it near a heater register for a few days. I hope this helps.
