Fear Factory underrated???? Never heard that in my entire life. Think they are quite famous and highly respected. Well, but its common here to write this or that is underrated. Cannot understand these kinds of comments!
@@GoerkeGesundheit They deserve more exposition , more recognition since they've influenced the whole modern metal scene. I think that's why we can see FF is "underrated" Pioneer since the 90's. This is crazy. People don't realize.
I LOVE YOU GUYS REACTION TO MY FAVORITE BAND!!! I like that you were not surprised to the change from brutality to symphony which has been their style for 30 years. You guys are AMAZING!!
Fear Factory probably is the most underrated band along with Type-O-Negative. That's just my opinion but thank you for this reaction. I need some Fear Factory tattoos... There is a fear factory in this division! Underrated album!
interesting fact: fear factory was featured on the playstation game test drive 5, and there was a special unlock which was a drivable fear factory van xD
So cool to see this out and in the wild now. Thanks for reacting to my request, and I hope you guys are getting plenty of rest between these massive recording sessions.
The album that introduced me to Fear Factory. Got it for their cover of Cars by Gary Numan who actually sings in the cover. Fell in love with the album. Obsolete is a concept album so the songs kind of run into each other, but they do a good job of making each song listenable on their own. The insert on the limited edition CD was like a mini book with a story that went along with the songs.
@The Windmill Full ov Corpses Cool, but i am sure your list is very long. It was just a suggestion for a casual listen. It's not as chonky as this song but the chorus is so awesome.
Speaking of car games. I made a custom music channel on Burnout Revenge years ago. It was nothing but Fear Factory music. It seriously helped to get into a certain head space, having to drive that fast.
Yesss. Fear Factory old skool jam. They added the machine gun sound to the metal scene in the 90's. it was very impressive at the time. Only thing that I still find off, are the clean vocals. And I didn't know you reacted to FF before. To the batmobile!
I discovered Fear Factory with their debut album Demanofacture in 1995. When I bought G/Z/R's (Black Sabath's bass player Geezer Butler) Plastic Planet I was thrilled to find out that Burton C. Bell is the vocalist on this album. I don't know exactly why I lost interest in the band after Obsolete. Maybe because I became a mom (yes, don't trust nicknames 😄). Btw i loved your Top Gear reference 😍. As an older metalhead i think it's great when you guys react to a song I loved in my late 20's.
Top Gear are phenomenal! I'm so happy to see you know them! And it's a joy to know we hit you in the nostalgia! Thank you so much for following us! /Andrei
A minor correction, if that's ok, but Fear Factory's debut album was actually Soul of a New Machine in 1992. It's quality is a little rough, but it clearly sets the tone for their future albums. ✌
Yes, I need to mosh! Moshing is a need! Must have mosh hehe! If you never felt gooey after a song u probably don't have a lot of mosh experience! We highly recommend you try but forewarn that your bodily integrity may be somewhat compromised! Cheers! / George
@@thewindmillfullovcorpses 😂 you're right. I have never been in a mosh pit lol I might have when I was younger but I would probably break if I did it now 😂 it's definitely a young person's game. Younger than me no doubt lol I'm almost 33 but I feel a lot older 😅 lol
@@hex_a_lexa Aye I've seen older people in pits as well, but typically it's big bulky dudes, so indeed, better to maintain your corporal integrity hehe! Also 33 is not old! I feel like everyone feels old today even 20 year olds! / George
@@thewindmillfullovcorpses haha well I'm kinda broken so in my case it's true 😵 I've been through the meat grinder 😖 and I'm a small woman so I'd get flattened like a pancake pretty fast if I went in there now 😂 back in the day though I would have been right in there with all the big bulky dudes hahaha I was fearless and I was very strong. I'll just have to be happy way way waayy in the back of the crowd lol
@Brian Sipe I have to look at more of his work get a better picture, because the more I'm looking at atomic hearts soundtrack the more badass songs I find
Great reaction vid, thanks, subscribed. I hope you avoid pausing it in the middle of the song, it really spoils the flow and takes away from your proper first experience and therefore genuine reaction (IMO) 😊
A band 20 years ahead of anyone else.
And they are still ahead 20 years later. lol
One of the most underrated bands of all time!
seems a legit statement / George
Fear Factory underrated???? Never heard that in my entire life. Think they are quite famous and highly respected. Well, but its common here to write this or that is underrated. Cannot understand these kinds of comments!
Not underrated but seriously overlooked by the younger generation.
They pretty mainstream, but they've kept to their roots and not bought in a the wrong crowd I.e limp bizkit

Pioneer since the 90's. This is crazy. People don't realize.
My first industrial metal band and one my all time favorites as they influenced so many others. Glad the younger gens are discovering them.
Yeah they've certainly been a culture gap for us! /Andrei
This album CONSUMED me when it came out. it felt like a gift

The outro tops this song off very well - genius 👌
they are genius yes!
Old metal fart / huge FF fan here: 6:43 is absolute brutality!
Your reaction is totally accurate! 😂👌🏼
Love this band, we have another reaction in the works! Old metal farts know their stuff/ George

- What's your favourite band merch? T-shirts, CDs, Hoodies?
- Nah, I'll have a VAN, thank you!!

Oh we do rest! It's part of the advantage of filming 20-ish videos at once te-he! Thanks for this request it was awesome! / George

i love that united flow between songs in albums but can confirm this one certainly felt complete on its own! Sick Work! / George
One of rhe best kick drum openings ever
I definitely agree
That's the mexicutioner you feel.
Sounds more advanced than metal today
Depends on the metal today. /Andrei
@@thewindmillfullovcorpses nah man. well not compared to their last album;) from last year
Crushingly Heavy!!! Listen to Self Bias Resistor. It's killer!! I am so happy to see u give much love and mosh to an older band. Cheers lads

This song prepares you to be a Future FREEDOME FIGHTER! I reccomend after this pls listen to Resurrection. Awesome reaction btw, you're both Legends 🙌
Thanx guys for this reaction.
Thanx guy for watching this reaction!
Again love you guys!!!
I was 17 when this album came out. Got it.. then proceeded to learn this song on guitar. Still my favorite warm up song to play!
I can definitely see how it would send your right hand on a trip, that's a lotta quick chuggin'.

Yeah, only two songs we heard so far but we're pretty damn sold on them already! /Andrei
Love your guys FF reactions. Too many people sleep on them. They are supreme with this lineup.

@@brian_sipe I didn't know that. Thanks
regarding vocals specifically - Pantera mixed with a tiny bit of Ozzy Sabbath was the first thing that came to mind for me 🤘
ooooh I didn't think of it that way but I definitely hear Ozzy in the cleans! He benefits greatly from Panterification! / George
The image of the owl came up! Hmmm! Beautiful!
This album is very good. Completely unique.
This band will seep into your pores
I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!
I love you too, random stranger, in a very friendly and platonic way! /Andrei
A shower after is completely acceptable
nice) , also Mick Gordon was inspired by Fear Factory a lot i believe, pls do reaction to another classic - Napalm Death - Twist The Knife (Slowly)
will consider big thank! I can see how Mick would be inspired by this cybernetic primal brutal chaotic mess! / George
Obsolete my arse! Still revealing!
They give us hope in battle with skynet. 🙂
Yeah phvck Skynet!
Great song and reaction (one of FF:s best). 😃
big T H A N K !
I keep watching this reaction because I love it... MTV's official loudest metal band of the 1990s.... Only second to Sepultura and Slipknot
