Lol the key thing with these pliers is hex only I swear I grab these every time when doing plumbing g toilet flange bolts 3/8 compression nuts valve packing nuts etc they work better than any other pliers for that those applications require little torque so the Milwaukee's are great for that
Thanks man. Love milwaukee and was looking for a reason not to go for the big red. Thought it would save me $30 and still be good quality, but you’re right not worth it if their a pain to use. Knipex it is
There's literally a handful of pliers manufacturers that I will use outside of King Knipex. Snap On, Lobster, Nepros/Koken, Engineer/Vampires, Whia, NES. Maybe one or two other. Basically one or two pairs per manufacturer outside of Knipex, who I have about 130 pairs of. And my original before I knew of Knipex. Klein, Channel locks, USA made oldschool Craftsman
I had a pair of these that my brother-in-law gave to me to get started in HVAC. I traded them to a guy for a pair of Knipex Twin Grips 82 02 200 that I had foolishly sold him before. He'll never use them, so he thinks they're great.
Awesome demo man. Milwaukee has some great products but as you show here they also have some pretty crap knock offs. Aside from the soft metal, I actually liked the Irwin take on the knipex design before I finally stopped getting the knockoffs and got the knipex pliers.
Those have to be the goofiest jaws I have seen. Milwaukee makes good tools but most tool companies out there have some flops . That’s definitely one of them. Good video
Thanks for the video. Before I bought my first pair of cobras I nearly bought the Milwaukee copy because they were cheaper . I'm glad I got the cobras. I am curious about the new channellocks it looks like they have the cross hatch teeth. It's going to be tough to beat the good old channellocks.
Yeah I'm really curious to see how they do like said I'll make a intro video and a 1 month review of them and if I like them a 2 month. I hope they are better or at least just as good as the classics.
Dude I'm literally still in the home Depot parking lot after buying these without doing any research. I thought they would be pretty neat, but every video I've watched in the past 15 has said they're garbage. I haven't even left the parking lot but I'm about to go back in and return them 😝
The most ugliest design of a plier. When it comes to pliers knipex is much better, pinch guard handles, great jaw geometry. Actually you can stand on them after they grip the pipe. Durability is great on the jaws. I have all the sizes including the xxl. Milwaukee power tools are great, but this rebranded Chinese trash is not worth the money.

Nice review I appreciate the info
Great vid. Unfortunately I’ve had some bad experiences with Milwaukee hand tools as well. They get no more of my money

I keep mine in my bag next to my knipex pliers mainly to abuse 😂 they’re definitely good for that

@@toolsandtrash6911 sorry my buddy junk_from_work abbreviation JFW he shout you out.
Irwin is making a pliers wrench.
That's the first I hear about that let me know when they come out I'll pick up a set
Looks like Lowe's has them
Good vid .was going to buy them today not now
Bought Milwaukee, returned next day, bought Knipex then. 😂
Darn it, I should've watched this before I bought them... I'm taking them back today! I couldn't handle that for expensive pliers.

I could tell the Jaw design on the Milwaukee would be a problem
It really is shit.
You’re complaining about the flat spot on the Milwaukee but the knipex have the exact same flat spot in the jaws lol I like both but damn
It is not the exact same the dimensions are clearly different
Nothing is perfect, button is only 1/8" bigger than the other one
Knipex top quality and worth every penny
i like douglas pliers
I have never heard of them I searched them on Ebay they look good I'm gonna pick them up I'll get video up about them asap!
@@toolsandtrash6911 a plumber that I worked with for years put me on them I been using them for twenty years or so
