We need a bigger and longer brush ❤
I invested in your Dyson Airwrap Complete several years ago, and I always wished the round brush were bigger. I mean, it really is more suitable for longer, thicker, more textured hair.
Now Dyson, I’m not upset that my Airwrap Complete was not actually complete, or that I have to spend more money on an attachment that makes it complete. I’m upset because I can’t even buy one. You are perpetually out of stock. I’ve signed up for notification alerts on your website, but hear nothing. This has been going on since your rollout of the new brush over 6 months ago. When will this be available to all of us who purchased the incomplete Dyson Airwrap Complete?

Good news, Emma - our new Large round volumising brush and our new Diffuser will both be available to buy separately, and are fully compatible with all Dyson Airwrap™ multi-stylers. Keep an eye on dyson.com as they'll be released within the next few weeks.

Regarding the new release of the Airwrap with new technology / new attachments for people with thick / coarse / curly / aka non-white person hair - I am exceptionally disappointed in Dyson as a company right now, and very, very personally frustrated. I JUST finally splurged this year around my Birthday/Holiday Season to get the new Dyson Airwrap (copper color). And yes, of course, compared to a regular dryer, I immediately fell in love. Even despite issues I was thrilled to have a product like this - because I basically give myself carpel tunnel / arthritis / shoulder and wrist pain etc, and spend hours and hours drying and styling my hair - and literally break a sweat doing it. I have to make plans so far in advance if I wanted my hair in my classic blowout that I love. I have VERY curly hair, but it is short, and thick-ish, and it definitely is prone to frizz. BUT - it blows out SO well. Usually. Over time the Airwrap started pulling out my hair / burning my hair etc. because I had to apply SO MUCH tension just to get it to get the kinks out of my hair with the current / 'new' / updated attachments. I have now had to replace FIVE heads (3x round brush, 2x regular brush) - I am currently waiting on a SIXTH replacement of the same brush because It literally SNAPS OFF while I am NORMALLY drying my hair. (And to Dyson - YES I follow ALL blowout instructions. I'm basically an expert. I spend so much money on products and so much time learning how to style my hair over my lifetime.... so I promise this isnt user error.) The issue lies with the brushes itself. IT WAS NOT DESIGNED FOR TRULY THICK / COARSE / NON-WHITE HAIR! And THIS IS DISCRIMINATION, plain and simple. The SADDEST thing is - I think Dyson realized this.... and BOOM - out comes the new Airwrap styler designed for Curly / Coarse / Thick hair. WELL - I JUST PAID $600+ for the "newest" model, and this isn't working for my hair - as evidenced by the amount of damage and replacements I've had to make in just a short time (all proven with photos etc. and replaced by Dyson officially.) That being said: Dyson needs to take action and actually DO SOMETHING about this massive discrepancy in quality / technology for its curly haired / ethic / thick-haired folks out there. In the very least, at LEAST honor the fact that we are having issues with your "newest" model and DESERVE to be SENT for FREE the APPROPRIATE ATTACHMENTS FOR OUR HAIRSTYLE. (NOT TO MENTION THAT ALL THE INDIVIDUAL ATTACHMENTS ARE "OUT OF STOCK" RIGHT NOW SO I COULDN'T BUY THEM IF I WANTED TO!!!)
If the curly / frizzy / thick hair Airwrap was released at the same time - this wouldn't be discrimination, and it wouldnt be an issue. But it IS. Its a HUGE one. I cannot afford to pay (AND SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY) $30-40 for EACH of the individual attachments for the curly/coarse hair Airwrap - nor should I have to pay a whole $600 AGAIN right after I JUST BOUGHT what was supposed to be the newest model. I use my Dyson Airwrap RELIGIOUSLY - DAILY - and it saves me so much time still... but it is pulling my hair out, causing so much frizz and breakage and then I have to style and restyle - where I wouldn't have to if I was using my roundbrush and dryer.... Not to mention all the parts literally popping out or breaking off while I am drying small sections of hair. That being said: I am SO frustrated daily by this and have meant to say something / speak out sooner. This is just SO UNACCEPTABLE and I have no doubt all the curly /thick / ethnic haired folks like me who purchased the 'new' version that is for straight hair- are experiencing the same frustrations. You all need to STEP IT UP and remedy this issue. Suggestion: For the people who are still within warranty for their Dyson Airwrap - if we prove to your customer service team that our hair literally NEEDS the curly/thick hair attachments from the new airwrap - SEND THEM ALL TO US! FREE OF CHARGE! Because, to me, that would fit within the warranty - technically. And also, it definitely be the level of care and consideration for its customers that Dyson is known for providing. You need to take care of your curly/thick/ethnic haired customers on the exact same level as the straight haired folks. Period. We deserve better from you.

I really wish you would include a button for automatic brush rotation as I find it indispensable for creating blow dry hairstyle both comfortably and successfully. I guess I’ll have to stick to the cheaper brands out there who provide that feature for now, what a shame..
I don’t usually style my hair but had no issue with rotating and styling it with the tool…such a shame that you failed miserably at doing such simple things, imagine what other simple things you can’t do in life
