    Thanks for this tutorial. In the Tango Meets Jazz book, the E in bar 58 has an 8ve sign over it. I know it’s not there on the download version. I prefer it the octave higher.

    I prefer the more dramatic louder version of dynamics at the start. There was some mention of some anger passion and frustration about the guy’s love life. You’re a gentler guy, so the way you play is true to character. It’s actually Argentine tango I think. You’ve gotta try a little if the dance steps on your own to understand the weight in your feet as how it relates to accents and the accents and syncopation. Most Latin rhythms are more straightforward than we think. The most challenging I found at its beginning learning phase was tumbao. I only learned it without trying too hard only when thrown in the situation in stage (1st time playing) at a salsa bar
